It wasn't a speeding ticket really. It was a good, diplomatic response to the notoriously sensitive asx authorities that effectively said 'what are you on about? We know of no reason beyond a daft video by someone unknown, and by the way, the share price is also driven by London, Frankfurt and New York. So shut up and take a long walk on a short pier.'
That's how I read it anyway.
A speeding ticket would have been a statement to the markets, not the asx authorities, from the company stating they know of no reason etc etc. It wasn't one of those.
