Swanny Agronomics looks like a nice company to be in, ethically. But from an investment perspective, what % of their investees do they own? One of Tern's USPs is the large % stake they own, in two cases - DA and Wyld - the majority holding.

Get it into your head. In order to conduct a placing, the board has to issue new shares. They have rescinded that right. Look at the RNS re last AGM. Therefore there can be no placing. In my opinion, given that AS has more or less stated that the portfolio is now fine as it stands, the reason the Board have agreed to this is because they know that there will shortly be commercial action.

FFS.,.., a placement is impossible.... the board have relinquished the right to issue shares. A placing is not possible. And AS has said we have enough. Gettit? Read the *** RNSs before spouting off.

A surge upwards would simply lead to a collapse back again. A spike in other words. Spikes are a pain. We've had them here before. What is wanted here is for the company to priced at fair value. Not trader's spikes.

I prefer it like this. Half a dozen serious investors. We had a couple of rainbow chasers on here yesterday. One was asking 'when will keyscaler be sold?' I mean, the question is wrong on so many fronts, it's hard to know where to start.

goodfly... but if they've been a part of the FSP process, won't they have greater insight into the substance and nature of the package that is EUA than ordinary punters? Isn't that tantamount to insider trading?

At last. A calm and considered analysis. It's not complicated.

Trouble is, most stocks on the AIM are driven by short term traders who care nothing about what a company is or what it does. They see a share rising and say 'I'll buy some of those' and then sell soon after to take their couple of hundred quid. Conversely, they all jump ship as soon as the price falls back, even a small amount. They're not 'investors' as such, and have little idea what they're doing.

That said, it doesn't explain why EMH share price is falling as much as it is. Perhaps people sense a long time horizon and think they'll make a bit elsewhere and then come back. But there's so much good news that's imminent here, this is a dangerous strategy.

Bob, I've every faith in KC. If anything goes wrong here it'll be some black swan event that comes from nowhere... but most mining investments carry that risk. This is looking pretty solid in my opinion.

I'd like to see confirmation of otherwise that they're doubling up capacity. They have to make a decision soon, surely, and it would be price sensitive info. And of course we all want news of an offtake agreement. Knowing they intend to double up production would help to put such an agreement in context.

There's a lot due over the next six months. EIA, offtakes, news on scaling, DFS .. which is why there needs to be a decision on scaling as they need to build the dfs around new numbers.

Whatever, I'd like to see something lift us back onto an upwards trajectory rather than this steady decline, although to be fair it does look as though it may have bottomed.

Interesting, hadn't thought of that. The board have mentioned that there's some debate as to whether dividends or share buybacks from sales proceeds are best from a tax point of view.

Of course there are. I was joking :-) EMH is my biggest investment by far, hence my comment. (the 2nd is Tern.. quick plug) but I too have money in other miners. Not just Li. But I think this is at least amongst the best Li investments.
