EVM seem to be a big part of Saudi's EV push, and we.. as far as I can see.. are central to EVM's material sourcing in Europe.

It seems obvious that this must be a factor to be aware of. And it will have implications for the DFS if processing costs are unpredictable for the time being.

I have little doubt that the powers that be will find the right way forward. For all it's complexity and supposed bureaucracy, the EU has a habit of distilling complex issues into outcomes that are acceptable to all. This is one department doing its job.. and it's an important one. Whoever decides the outcome though will be taking input from multiple directions, not just this one dept. My concern is simply that the process doesn't take too long.

Well that was the 5th Aug. And all the price did was spike up about 25% and then fall back again. Mind you, it is an MOU, not an actual deal. I hope a deal has a better impact though.

The proposed 10% CEZ holding in any auto JV is obviously an effective CR Gov subsidy. If it succeeds in attracting an automotive (VW) jv in the CR and if Geomet can then strike the kind of deal decribed in the post from tues at 17:18 as part of that deal, then we will fly. It's like a big head of steam building up, but its release depends on various 'inkings' taking place. I so wish they'd get on with it. Or not, for clarity.
