In a nutshell, the RTO has stalled because smartech announced they were going for their own IPO instead. Since then there's been intense negotiations and we should have an RNS very soon. Smartech have to riase 3m by end of this week if they're to pursue their own IPO.

Well I'm probably giving too much credence to the idea that EVM might reverse into Caeurus. An idea spawned by Kluck on here a few days back. I hadn't realised EVM arn't listed. Given their operations in the Middle East, and their apparent intention to link Saudi projects with EU resources (the processing thereof), it strikes me that being Cyprus based but listed in London might be very useful.... of course without kowing their plans, it's speculation. But inuitively sems a real possibility to me, especially given how things have gone so quiet. Perhaps I'm grasping at straws.

jtfm.. indeed. I live in Cyprus and am hoofing myself now for not knowing better. I have high hopes for the EVM angle though. A radical change of direction perhaps, with even more potential.

This downtrend has been in place now for a year and a half. The price is lower than it was in 2017. To say I'm pee'd off would be a severe understatement. Especially given my complete inability to make any kind of judgement call whatsoever, apart from speculation and guesses, most of which are likely to reflect wishful thinking as much as they reflect reality. Even some clarity on the viability and nature of the processing tech would be helpful.

Well if it is an RTO, and it's only a wild guess, then we'd have a long wait. Those things take ages.

Well exactly.. VW... the point being that we've suspected for a while that there's a lot going on behind the scenes, and now VW have announced that they're intending to buy into mining companies. I agree with Bob... if the damn DFS was ready (you know, the one that was supposed to appear a couple of years ago) then perhaps we'd be seeing considerable action on the VW front right now.

EVM are a large Australian company who are operating in the Middle East. Their speciality is the processing of ores.

They need a base in the Middle East. Cyprus...:
1/ is in the Middle East
2/ is in the EU, allowing unrestricted interaction to markets in 27 countries in Europe
3/ is a tax advantageous location to set up any international comercuial operation
4/ may give access to the UK via the TCA as long as the current UK govt don't screw it up by reneging on the brexit deal.

Plus Caerus has it's own copper resources, which EVM vcan process. But I'm guessing that we will primarily become a business operations hub for EVM between the EU and Saudi. Need to know how we make money from that if so. But it wouldn't be happeneing if we didn't.
