George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Hacked again (is my pure guess).

I've just seen this on the AJBell site;
Customer information - London Stock Exchange
"We’re aware that some customers are having difficulties obtaining quotes for UK stocks due to an issue with the London Stock Exchange. We’re sorry for this disruption to our service"
1984, I refer you back to my 22.25 post, which obviously crossed.
Yep, my own personal experience. It used to snow heavy here in Brum. It hasn't done for a long time.
Probably that forty years you speak of.
Does that chime with global warming figures? I honestly don't know.
Nope. I'm not seeing your point.
I saw 76. I also saw 2ft of snow in Brum around 73 and big falls in 79 and 83, with a roasting hot summer then too. The year I was born (62-63), was the worst winter since just after the war. An eighth of an inch scares people now and shuts roads down, which makes us older people just laugh.
I'm convinced we've seen far too rapid a change and it's got nothing to do with what I see on the telly, but all to do with my personal experience.
1984, you really ought to know better.
It's about trends and not what happens at a particular time.
You know the one that makes me laugh the most?
"How can it be global warming when it's the coldest it's been for years?" I remember it most during the "Beast from the east".
Ignorance in the extreme, imo.
Ah, well that's an interesting point. I very much doubt it will affect me much, given that I'm hoping my 320D beemer is going to see me out. (as an aside, there was a report that quoted a 5 series of the same vintage and engine as emitting no CO2 and extremely small amounts of particulates). All I know is I look at the exhaust and it's as clean as the day I bought it. Not bad for an 8 yo motor, so who's fooling who?
So with my neutral, not giving a toss either way, head on, I think green is here to stay. I've witnessed the weather change and my opinion says it's far too rapid to be natural. And even if I'm wrong in thinking that, I don't believe it's fair that we gamble with my grandkid's or even great grandkid's (which aren't far away for me) wellbeing.
I've no interest in preaching though. People generally won't realise until the likes of the Maldives are underwater.
It'll come when it comes.
So yep, this is a copper play predominantly, in my book. Not that I'm too bothered. I won't be buying the company :-)
Tbh, I don't crunch the numbers like some.
But my understanding is this is primarily a copper play, with a large amount of gold bolted on. Another big attraction is also the silver and Moly etc, which makes this such a diverse resource. It was a big reason why I was so confident it would sell quickly.
I struggle to see that there's only one suitor. If there's one that can make it work, there will be others, imo.
I just don't think there is one at this particular time.
Then again, I agree with Fort. How can the board possibly go into an AGM with nothing to offer? If they do, that's when we will really see the SP on it's knees. I dread to think where the bottom might be in that scenario. No hint of a bid with a raise in the offing? That's a scary thought.
I don't know why I said the shorter. I meant Berry.
But it looks like the last movement of XIB was almost a year ago, when the SP was around 18p.
I'll be amazed if they haven't closed that, but just not reported it. Nobody saw 8p remotely coming, did they?
"Agree regarding lack of news and marketing but it has to be deliberate. What are the chances of getting so many useless incompetent CEOs in a row?"
That's the worrying part for me. My concern is there is quite simply nothing to report, because there is no prospective bidder. You can have all the brilliant CEOs you like, but if you can't convince anyone to bid for what you're selling, when they've had plenty of time to look into the data room.... well.
And as for talk of a PFS3, it's pretty obvious to me that as of now, nobody can make a bid because the numbers don't work.
It's easy for us holders to say this is a bargain, but if it was, at least one bid would have come in.
Yes we can talk about strategy and all that tosh, but if someone wanted it, they would have bid by now, I'm convinced of it.
And it's why I don't see a bid incoming for ages. Not until we see an astronomical Cu price by today's standards.
I honestly hope I'm totally wrong, as I now have a substantive holding here, by my levels anyway.
1984, so you think this is being manipulatede too?
I don't believe that for one minute.
A shorter selling a bundle, chronic lack of interest, hence miniscule volume, no news, while the company bleeds cash with an obvious raise coming, plus not the slightest hint of a sale = falling SP.
It's as simple as that for me.
Massive kn*b, starting on me now are you?
My post didn't state much agreed, but it makes more sense than you constantly having your lover's tiff and ruining the board.
Don't worry, you needn't bother trying to hassle me like you do Novice, because I won't be reading your utter tripe.
Filtered, for the obsessed lunatic that you are.
I didn't think it would come round quite this quick and I suspect I've gone too early, but it all helps to bring the average down, I suppose.
Come on SOLG, throw us a bone, else this is looking at 6's by the time the AGM comes round.
I'll take my long term estimate of 56p.
Do I think that might happen?
Well, I think it might still happen, as much as it looks remote at the moment.
Sorry, but somebody has to keep it real.
Sometimes I feel like I'd take 20p, just to finish it.
Agreed, Bridgedogg1.
But you're obviously new to HUM.
Expect the absolute worst and you won't be disappointed.
I'd like to think you're 100% correct though. With cream added on top.
Fingers crossed they haven't managed to mess up again.
I've certainly lit a fuse here, that's created some great debate.
So my "out there" thoughts are no as far off as I thought.
I think much revolves around the POG.
Surely if it rises to $2500 or more, it's not so outlandish?
Figures have been thrown out there and I agree, they're at least in the realms of reality.
And yes, Dan is a dreamer. He's still young enough to think like this.
Of course, keeping my balanced head on, we might well end up needing to borrow more money in the short term. Who saw the last money deal that has cost us a fortune coming, after all?
While HUM has the seemingly superb ability to ruin our prospects, so it could easily be the 100% opposite.
And most likely, a lot more.
And that's the game I'm invested in.
Heavily, by my levels.
