I'd rather see AFC deliver on their core target market (stationary industrial power generation).

Given non-institutional-investor participation rights for any fund raising were voted away years ago (ie. there's no obligation for AFC to offer new shares to small private investors during a fund raise), I shall be hoping AFC find a large single investor who demands (given the piss poor management so far) to place several of their own competent directors on the board, and ideally to demand Adam Bond steps down or takes a very significant pay cut until profit from sales are coming in. Investors here are going to have to stomach some big dilution at this share price, but lets hope whoever does take a large slice has the ability to jump-start this company back to life.

I suspect there would be strict environmental planning restrictions involved with locating a DMG or Kore in close proximity to populated area like a supermarket. I believe its all down to the local authority though, and not necessarily the Environments Agency for granting SWIP (Small waste incineration permits), and yes this covers pyrolysis/gasification too.

stokey12: The typically ecosynthesis gas from a DMG will be composed : 50% H2, 35% CO, 10% CH4, 5% Inert gas.

The H2 part is wonderful indeed, however the CO and CH4 (which could be reformed into more CO), is destined for a genset which will burn it and emit CO2. So as you see, almost half of the syngas emitted from a DMG becomes one of the leading greenhouse causing emissions.

None of which changes the fact this puts CO2 from solid waste into the atmosphere.

I guess we will remain 'ontarget' for 2+ degrees of global warming and that's also fine in your eyes.

If you think the chemistry of gasification has changed in the last ten years, or that PHE have made some grand scientific breakthrough with this technology, then by all means ignore any documents which don't fit your world-view :)

Kenny your weforum link is generally bemoaning the gigatonnes of CO2 gas that fuel the greenhouse effect.
Gassifying waste is just putting solid Carbon into the atmosphere, let's hope in the 12 months till PHE have a gasified ready they can work on Carbon sequestration technologies to offset their eventual impact on global warming.
