You’re mixing units there, it’s pounds not pence.
The point being, and as mentioned by someone back in April after the presentation came out, that sub 10c (USD) (ie. the point at which AFC start to become a cost effective alternative to traditional generative solutions) wouldn’t be expected until some way after the two years longevity line is even reached. Except the graph is in EUR, so it was roughly a factor of 1.22 out, and not in our favour.
Yes, four years looks very competitive at sub 5 euro cents, but there is of course no guarantee AFC will ever make it there before they’re no longer a going concern. I’m as frustrated as any of you that we can’t get a product out of the door it seems, and the longevity targets always seem at least a year in the future. We need updates on these PLACE metrics and soon if any shareholder value is to be retained.
