Assuming the Southern Oil contract is signed in roughly the next three months.
Can I run a quick poll for how you think AFC will deliver against the requested 200kW or so Southern want :

1 - Single Kore-style unit, populated with multiples of Kore-style 10kW cartridges
2 - Single containerised unit, populated with multiples of Kore-style 10kW cartridges
3 - Multiple containerised units, populated with multiples of Kore-style 10kW cartridges
4 - Something new and unseen, with new design cartridge of increased power density.

Mucksy I'm not so convinced about full sized containers with reduced capacity, customers won't be able to stack them, will need plenty of space surrounding each one for safety I imagine, and so the floor space required would be huge.

I thought at least with Kore you could have "up to" 250kw, by simply not populating with all 24 cartridges.

Why would buying pressure be up DW, when anyone on the side lines can see no finished design and presumes need for a capital raise imminently so we can all have jam tomorrow.

If Mucksy is right DW, and the Kore was just a test-bed, then it seems we're both at odds with your opinion that Kore (as in Stade) is the product customers can try to buy right now. It seems to me that customers don't want something that large, and need something that will fit in a container to ease delivery by ship and road. That is the plug & play design AFC are engaging this other company to build.

Anyone else find it odd that 'Kore' isn't mentioned once in the RNS.

Was Kore (as refined and fixed for gas and fluid flow) in Stade not our finalised platform for sale?

AFC now engage a new company to engineer the previously-known-as-Kore kit into a 2TEU container and power delivery drops to between 150 kW and 200 kW.

As a side note, 2TEU / 40ft containers have twice the footprint of a 150kW diesel generator.

So perhaps it's no surprise we're told they need to engineer a new more power dense design, which is 12 months in the making, but not ready or tested yet of course.

What will it take to get AFC to bring a FINALISED v1.0 product to market I wonder?

You’re mixing units there, it’s pounds not pence.
The point being, and as mentioned by someone back in April after the presentation came out, that sub 10c (USD) (ie. the point at which AFC start to become a cost effective alternative to traditional generative solutions) wouldn’t be expected until some way after the two years longevity line is even reached. Except the graph is in EUR, so it was roughly a factor of 1.22 out, and not in our favour.

Yes, four years looks very competitive at sub 5 euro cents, but there is of course no guarantee AFC will ever make it there before they’re no longer a going concern. I’m as frustrated as any of you that we can’t get a product out of the door it seems, and the longevity targets always seem at least a year in the future. We need updates on these PLACE metrics and soon if any shareholder value is to be retained.

The very contrived Slide 10 of the April presentation https://www.afcenergy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/AFC-Energy-plc-AGM-2018-release-1.pdf suggests we aren't going to see USD 5c levelised cost even with four years electrode longevity.

Note they chose EUR as the denomination for some odd reason, given they quote their 10 cents in USD everywhere else, but of course the graph looks much better in EUR doesn't it.

Ceres are going to build their own fuel cell manufacturing plant, it'll cost £7 million over two years to complete, and will have initial capacity for 2MW of cells per year, rising to a max of 10MW if there's enough demand.

This is only an interim measure for Ceres to cope with demand, they ultimately plan to let future manufacturing partners make the fuel cells under licence where Ceres would then benefit from the royalties.

Less than 500k in the bank, burn rate of 2m/year, first unit not built or installed until Q3 2019 at earliest.

@Seaangler, the 25T/d unit needs 300kW/Hour to run, and yes CO2 is the result of course.

There you go again, I appreciate you go to some lengths to have my posts removed, but the fact remains you're misleading investors telephoneman. You cannot keep saying there is Hydrogen to sell and electrical power to be generated at the same time.

From PHE's own website it's one or the other : "Electric power or hydrogen generation", "used tyres into syngas fuel for power generation, ... or becoming a source of distributed hydrogen generation."

A question :

Syngas with the Hydrogen removed becomes a gas with what composition suitable for a gen-set ?

I'm sure they'll manage to give another £16m grant to privately run Dyson...

I've been watching CWR for years now and it's encouraging to see another fuel cell company succeeding in the marketplace, they've done some big deals of late, we could use a WeiChai of our own!

Ahh, a capitulation and admission that PHE need to build and demonstrate a product, and will need funding whilst they wait for that timeline to complete.
