Of late, have you noticed how Dennis has recorded a brief interview with each bit of news, sometimes on the same day. But not today so far. Why not? Is it possible he has other news to give us this week?

Dennis Edmonds, Chief Executive Officer of Kazera Global plc commented: "We've always believed in the strength and fairness of our case, and this ruling confirms that. It is therefore a welcome outcome that protects shareholder interests and draws a line under a long-running issue. While the arbitration process hasn't held us back operationally, it has been an unhelpful distraction. We can now move forward with greater clarity and remain focused on unlocking value across the rest of the portfolio. We will now take the necessary steps to recover the full amount we are owed."

Excellent news. I suspect they already have an idea of how/whether they can recover the money owed to us.

The Basher, I hope your investment pays off. SA at Christmas sounds lovely. Like you I remain pessimistic about our chances of getting the $10m from Hebei any time soon or at all. The most likely outcome in my mind is that we retain ownership of the mine and there’s been some negotiation already with the same interested parties that Arcadia are courting.

Thanks for confirming, Poppyseed. Much scrutiny on that coast. Probably why the company had to be squeaky clean on diamond mining rights, specifically extending to shore and beach as per last RNS.

What’s the name of the telegraph group please?

Doing some digging on the likelihood of us hearing about the Perdevlei mining rights extension and came across this: https://protectthewestcoast.org/post/whale-head-red-flag/

Looks like there were appeals to the extension but some mention elsewhere on a private group I don’t have access to, that these have come to nothing and now concluded.

Certainly seems that way, Max. I think the significance of the MOA with Alexkor is lost on most people.

OK, on the one hand it may be that the reason we've not announced any diamond revenue for what seems like years is because we didn't previously have the rights to process diamond gravels from the shore and beach, which was a bit of an oversight on someone's part. The RNS says, " to extend its current right to mine diamonds at its Alexander Bay operations on the land, to include the right to also mine beach and shore diamonds." To me that implies the right did not exist before, and we're getting our HMS from the beach and shore. In my tiny mind, it follows that until the MOA was signed we technically couldn't process the sand for diamonds.

The upshot is that once we've secured Perdevlei, we've not only got more HMS but more diamonds! Get in!

OK, my take-home from Dennis' interview is that the MOA with Alexkor means we can sell diamonds from all our current HMS operations i.e., from waterline right up the beach (beach and shore), where this was not possible before. And when the pending Perdevlei license is granted in full, and we commence HMS operations there, the same arrangement follows for the same diamond gravels. Nice.

Not sure I like the use of the word, 'if' by DE when talking about arbitration and liklihood of getting our $11m back...

I am disappointed. I thought we were going to get news of sales. An extension is good, don’t get me wrong, but have we sold any diamonds?

I’ve checked all the published court papers in the Namibian High Court that hears arbitration cases and can find nothing on Aftan’s (Kazera) case. Literally nothing published. Hebei is mentioned in other cases but only one from 2025. Oldbutnowiser, you’re a retired brief, what do you make of this?

bumpingalong - you may be right. it's all gone very quiet. i just hope we don't get a **** sandwich i.e., diamond sales are great (bread), arbitration concluded and we're now owners of a worthless unworkable tant/li mine again in namibia (filling), grant of license (bread). lol!

I think we’ll just bump along until we get a proper update. Diamond news next as Dennis mentioned it in the last interview following the first sale of HMS.

Nice little mention of ‘good news coming soon regarding diamond production’. Remember we’ve been told the revenue from diamonds should cover the costs of HMS production. Be nice to see that confirmed.

I agree the absence of mention of the arbitration means there’s some ongoing work to be done there, and risk probably too.
