How come MMs drop the price when people are buying? I know it’s small volumes but still illogical.

Reminds me that over the years I’ve often seen a drop before big news and many have commented that it’s to allow friends etc to buy before news. Hope so.

I topped up for the kids today in their ISAs. I do hope the Hebei arbitration doesn’t leave us with a mine to manage.

well, it is over 60 days since arbitration proceedings commenced in namibia. i hope it’s good news. or maybe a **** sandwich: hms off take, we’ve got the tant mine back, diamond sales.

Playing how, why? I’m always intrigued to know what the market makers do.

In quiet times between news, to make a market, do they just shift the price around a few % to keep things ticking over? Flush out the bored or impatient?

Great to see the steady rise here towards true value. Bound to be bumps along the road e.g., Hebei arbitration might not conclude favourably, but the South African side of the business looks very promising.

Someone must need the cash or they’re chasing another stock, otherwise why sell at these prices?

Regarding that 50 million trade the other day - it was reported on the LSE as 'off book' so do you think there is a simple transaction underway for the entire 50m shares from one party to another, or are we now waiting for 50m of buys to clear on the open market? The way the SP is reacting now aks me think that the 50m trade must be cleared somehow. Just a hunch.

I know it’s a bit of a swear word to mention, but do you remember back in the Kennedy days when we regularly got a Friday close of play RNS 😂. Right up until it all became a lie.

1.5% - man, that's retirement money when the time comes! Who was it who said that Jaques told them his vision was for MAFL to become a £100millon MCAP company...

I think at this rate, it'll be my kids retiring on the proceeds from MAFL's portfolio and not me.
