From all the geological blether that went on 4 years ago and the ‘bible’ I have a high degree of confidence that continued phase 2 drilling will reveal significant mineralisation.

MSA and Larry know their stuff. Our mine will be operating again, processing our own and artisanal minerals at about the same time that the EU enacts its own Frank Dodd equivalent legislation.

Meaning that no farm in partner’s board are going to justify a £4-5million investment with only 8 years to make it back.

Reading between the lines because that is all we can do right now, I think we’re either heading for a position where we can pay for the pipe ourselves through forward trading of Tantalum and Niobium (a way off). Or, phase 2 drilling de-risks the mine enough for a farm in partner to fund it.

I recall reading that the existing mine life was only 8 years based on what’s been confirmed by phase 1 drilling, not the 20 years that GC boasted of.

Fair, TP. Guess my fence is just a bit closer to, ‘glass half full’ than your fence. One of our fellow investors went to the AGM last year where GC apologised for the £400k raise. But he also said that Larry would deliver us a nice little Ta mine to boot.

I fully believe that we’ll have time to second guess the big boys’ moves.

But why would we be compelled to sell?

I don’t get a sense that the ‘for sale’ sign will go up anytime in the next 3-5 years. The trading arm will be the key to moving not just our tantalum but also niobium from regional acquisitions as well as our own mine.

Remember the service road they built to the ‘virgin’ ground in the SE of the property. The geology is superb and only 30% of the property has been derisked.

I don’t feel the need to seek reassurance in this respect. ‘GC’s Cronies’ ponied up at much higher SP than this. They and we will have our returns.

Morning, TP. The trading arm is a wholly owned subsidiary. I think it’s a stroke of genius on Larry’s part and is generating income to fund phase 2 drilling.

What’s not been said explicitly is whether the income might be sufficient in its own right to negate the need for a farm in partner for mine development.

Now wouldn’t that be nice!

I’m not certain Larry would answer that if I asked. He does everything by the book.

However, GC did tell one of our fellow investors that with all the activity going on at the mine and potential deals being done that it is difficult to determine when in a closed period.

Better to be safe than sorry, I guess. And LJ will do nothing to jeopardise the project.

I like to think I know Larry pretty well. If I’m wrong about him then I shall go and live in a cave somewhere in France as my faith in human nature would then have been irrevocably undermined.
