hl cannt buy at the moment

hi everyone, slightly of topic. I use hl for my major holdings but looking at opening an ig account for my small punts as hl can be expensive.Are they any good? I have closed my Halifax account as it was dormant and they will be charging an admin fee next year. although transaction price will be lower.thanks

thats ironic, received a letter yesterday for antibody test kit trial. finger prick version .

yes they always seem to be haywire at the end of trading day. sometimes worth doing a dummy buy to see the actual price with big spread shares.

How to start reinvesting your dividends
Log into your account and select the account for which you wish to amend the income instruction e.g. Stocks & Shares NISA
Select the 'Cash' tab and click on 'Income account'
On the right hand menu, click 'Amend your income instruction' and select your reinvestment value.
Thereafter, any dividends will be automatically reinvested between the 11th and 21st of the month (or as soon as practicable thereafter).

hi derek mine is in hl. look under income tab if it is there. if it is .go to the cash tab and you will see income loyalty bonus .its there for you to decide what to do with it.there is a link to transfer it to you capiltal account if you want. if you leave it will transfer there in 10 days anyway i. don't know about your sipp though.gl

hi I am with hl aswell and still exdiv I have the 18th in my head for the divi to be paid. if you set your account to reinvest divi it will if not it will pay into your account hope it helps

hi, i have used Hargreaves Lansdown for sometime they are good but not the cheapest at 11.95 a trade upto 9 trades then reduces to 8,95 and 5.95 on the next month depending number of trades you did. service is good though.
if you deal in small volumes it can be to expensive and with some big spreads you wont make anything.
worth considering depending on how you trade gla
