Hi all, had the same . raises a few questions. What i s the benefit of hsbc holding them for a shareholder in real terms, if the firm has gone? Or would it benefit us with the action going on. for prove of owning shares? Or does HL just want them off the books so to speak.

Do you have the Santander app on your phone? I've had an incident in the past with Santander on my pc. They sent the code to my phone which I entered on the pc, but had to verify the payment via the phone app. Using the app pass code.

I am with Hargreaves and you can find buys and sells under transaction history so I would assume. Other brokers have similar.

Colin the form will be 2 formats pdf and word, choose the 1 which is best for you . the information required will be the amount of shares held dates,value,signature and, tick a couple of boxes 1 box will be to have seen the zoom call which will be a link in the email .

proof of address and id will be required . you may require a printer or scanner .if thats an issue a family member,library or print shop may be able to help.gl

Hi beardolian, i am the same with giving out sensitive info and agree with the secure submission,but on this occassion a certain amount of of due diligence,I submitted as they requested via email. there is always a risk but there is as much information already out there in the system.

Why is everyone on a witch hunt when someone posts because they are not able to do something . different age groups and people have different abilities especially when it comes to computers. using one for internet use is different from using one with software and hardware and some may not have a scanner/printer to work with.They also can be intimidated by them.
