I purchased 5306 shares in January 2004 @9p. When they bombed, I put the share certificate in the pensions folder and left it there. Obviously noting the suspension and subsequent price rise, I’m chuffed and will hold to the end. I’m not a knowledgeable investor, I just followed tips in the Sunday paper. Made a bit here and there, and a lot on one Co. and haven’t invested since. Having moved and registered my new address with signalshares I notice that in 2017 as well as the 5306 shares at 5p it says that I have 5306 deferred option shares @4.9p. What does that mean in simple terms? Is there something I am supposed to do about that?
Apologies to the better informed, this may seem basic stuff, but I’m hoping that fellow long time travellers on this Ship might be sufficiently composed within their position to be able to offer a little education to the sage looking older man, sat quietly amongst the ballast. TIA
