For me Doc is 100% correct the only very slim chance is if science can prove beyond doubt the gain in function was man made.

All significant governments have similar ‘projects’ to produce and counter biological threats.

There are way too many coincidences for this to pop up next to the Wuhan Institute at ground zero specifically developing this stuff. So deliberate ‘let’s see what happens in a big experiment?’ Or a huge f##k up we will never know.

My primary concern is how prepared the NHS is for another onslaught. Should be feeling up for it on the 1% pay rise yes all those reported mental health issues and being at s breaking point just probably overstated. Must see what Matt has to say obviously he is working tirelessly so he knows how everyone is doing.

I just wondered what this news actually means going forward?

Hasn’t the merde hit le ventalatateur or about to hit in a big way ?

Certainly in terms of the NHS the fact that vaccination gave workers effective protection and now maybe it doesn’t ?

Maybe I am missing something but seems to potentially have huge ramifications ?

The primary line of defence is to get everybody within reason vaccinated ?

So why is there not a bit more debate and concern around the arguably best vaccine maybe being shown to be potentially pretty ineffective against the current dominant strain ?

The Pfizer vaccine as tested seems to have been outmanoeuvred by the Delta variant and there is plenty of Greek alphabet left.

Doesn’t that leave us in a bit of unimpressive place in terms of plan A ?

I am not disagreeing with potential inaccuracies or challenges to what was said.

But I have seen it on countless occasions the voice of moderation being lambasted by people who only want to believe they’ve found the holy grail of investments and are going to make trillions.

If only it was that easy. I am sure outside every casino there are people walking home who can’t even afford the taxi home after believing they couldn’t lose.

Just attach whatever value you see fit don’t be offended. Some people will try to tell you you can’t lose as it supports their own position just as others will be unduly negative to buy cheaply.

You pays your money and ‘should’ make up your own mind. That goes for veracity and motives too.

I think you are missing the point this is part of DD which sounds pretty balanced to me.

In general people on these forums just want to hear the populist upside for me I like to be reminded of the actuality beneath hype and drum beating.

It gives you perspective stops you getting burnt so happy to read it and apply a value based on my own understanding and DD, uncomfortable as it may be for some.
