Presumably VOD will now include the carrying value of its investment in the group accounts, currently zero.. VOD share of 48Bn shares after the conversion. Should hear something just in time for the Q4/FY reporting I guess?

I would have liked that if it would have got the SP back on track or higher. Last year Italy ebitdaal was c €1.6Bn. Someone must of worked out (VOD or an external consultancy) they could continue to service stakeholders (interest/ dividends) and pay down debt as it matures over the medium term rather than retiring debt early. Maybe EU had a hand in it too.

Alot happening next week, including the main central bank interest rate hikes (or not). If interests rate hold or drop, I think we rise. If interest rates rise (VOD has 2.5% average coupon and limited near term maturing debt ), I think we rise.
