Bought some today, as I still remember that news from 2 months ago: https://www.lse.co.uk/news/MIRI/mirriad-advertising-shares-surge-on-microsoft-collaboration-o87wd61pd2x0uaw.html
In 2000, 2 tech shares went from 1p to £1 in double-quick time (min and evt). So quick and strong rises are possible.
i have a couple of (positive) thoughts about wandisco
the 2 directors resigned, so in many ways the toxic elements have gone
and new management comes in.
the mis-representaion of 2002 earnings was, of course, shameful and they should be punished, and the senior employee who 'was responsible for the errors.'
https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-12337693/market-report-wandisco-founders-lose-50m-trading-resumes.html
one thing though, which i see as a positive
wandisco were ahead of the curve by believing in ai last year
the greats - like microsoft - have (only this year) seized upon ai as the new vector for propelling their future income.
so ai is very hot just now.
and when the sp was high august 2022-early 2023, the mkt cap of wandisco would have been high enough to warrant a technical team, with great expertise, to develop product. so imo the product will be cutting-edge by now because lots of 2022 r&d money was thrown at it
so we have new management..
a product developed with great 2022 expertise, and ahead of the curve/ the competition
.... as the major vendors only decided in about march 2023 that ai was hot (...and still is).
that looks a good ****tail imo.
Worth a small punt IMO

Also, in the RNS of 10.7.23 (re. the other regions, sounds good to me)
LeakBot is now already live in 4 of the 23 Länsförsäkringar regional businesses, with the other regions waiting for confirmation that this new 5-year agreement is in place before commencing further expansion.
Andreas Fahlstadt , Head of Business and Market at Länsförsäkringar Södermanland , says : " Existing LeakBot activity has proven very popular across the Länsförsäkringar Group and we look forward to working with LeakBot on the opportunity to increase engagement and reduce escape of water claims over the coming years."

Helium Super Summit 2023
Four major global shortages in 18 years, and yet the greatest challenge facing the helium business in 2023/24 is the uncertainty that hangs over the market and its array of end-users.
The source of that uncertainty – and perhaps the enduring Helium Shortage 4.0 – is the terse geopolitical climate the world is engulfed in. Sourcing, shipping and supplying helium where it’s needed has arguably never been more challenging, or rewarding.
All of which means there are a host of questions to be answered as the global helium business and its customers are Steering Through Uncertainty. Join gasworld and more than 300 fellow stakeholders in the global helium business under this theme for Helium Super Summit 2023 from October 30 – November 1 at The Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston, Texas.

Quote from an Aussie explorer:
The stated aim at Noble Helium is to diversify the helium supply chain and ‘insulate it from the disruption and market manipulation risk that will emerge in the sourcing of this critical raw material’.
It believes the Rukwa Basin in Tanzania is one of the most promising prospects to help deliver that diversification of supply, and Noble Helium Co-Founder Walter Jennings told gasworld in an exclusive interview in June 2022 that “Tanzania remains the standout as potentially the largest resource of pure play helium in the world.”
“Our prospects in the Rukwa basin have been certified summed Pmean Helium Prospective Resource of 176Bcf NSAI (30 years global demand based on current demand).

Sodium-ion batteries could squeeze their way into some corners of the battery market as soon as the end of this year, and they could be huge in cutting costs for EVs.

Re: Sodium
China-based automakers such as Chery and Jiangling Motors (JMC) have started to use sodium-ion batteries in their EVs. The adoption has raised the question of whether it would cool down the fluctuating lithium carbonate prices

Their pre-drill expectations, on several parameters, were exceeded.
So their initial theoretical model & guesstimate for field size should (IMO) be equalled or exceeded.
So that makes the run-up to the flow testing results more 'of a formality' (a foregone conclusion, even)? That's how I see it anyway.
