Yip, id be up for that but you would need to get the round in as i can only buy "fantasy" beers.
Again, say what you like about me my post history or whatever, perhaps i post to ramp , perhaps i post to deramp, perhaps i post my frustrations for me, perhaps i post my frustrations for others i advise. perhaps its none of the above. Crack on....post away. We know the real LTH's who were in the trenches and supported through the tough times with promises of untold riches just around the corner. lol, and we know the ballbags.

Irrelevant whether i have or do not have a position of holding in Tullow ( although be a bit strange if i just jumped on the board to talk pish to people, unlike some i have no interest in what others do or do not say) i am surely allowed an opinion. I have also spouted on here that we are flying soon to the £2 mark.....that was nonsense as well as it turns out. so to say im a troll or BS'r on the basis of my opinion is just malevolent boredom of someone who is beneath me. i also posted that this was double back in the dark days when we had nothing of note to look forward too,
post away , choose wisely, lol
it is people like you who (and i hope you are in very deep) gives the good guys, obvs. not me a bad name in this BB,
remember back all LTH to the dark days of about 4 years ago when this BB was all about supporting each other with positivity and a bright future. Cant remember seeing the last factual , informative conversation on here without it degrading into name-calling and trolling...............any prospective sane minded potential investor would have one look on this and say, nope...
And here's another thing we are a matter of days away from the time expiration that didn't allow the ex director and his wife to sell over 7M shares. If they dump them we are all Fcked, watch them do that as soon as they can and the SP will collapse so not a smooth road to recovery, best case scenario is we hit a decent price and bail out before they do
Ok so we are supposedly 2 weeks away, at most.from finalised signed sell of asset to ping we have more licences for excellent potential fields.
So please explain why this SP to me, I just don't understand. The investors presentation should me excellent returns when these things materialised
Have I been lied to,? Was the presentation just one big con?
Why are people selling now???
I don't expect a reply, I expect more share dilution so you can have your salaries. I'm beyond angry, moreso at myself for trusting a local (yes local) Scottish firm to be more trustworthy and honest. And not a peep, using share dilution to pay your salary, at least buy some bloody shares to show faith
I agree, im trying to think in what scenario would i prioritise recruiting a geologist and absolutely none of the scenarios would be when i dont have a plan or a future for the company.
this vacancy and recruitment is for future fields / further development and data of current fields. although im a layman in mining but i know running companies and this one flummoxed me if we dont have something close.
I really dont mind if i dont realise what i expected but i bought my daughter 50k shares here at about 10p ish........and im genuinely asking this - if everything goes as planned when will first oil be captured and therefore the cash income realised.......shes 11 years old. so more time than me lol
i sold these last september i think....at about 35p, i was weighted average of about 17p so didnt lose money in all the years i had held.
thats actually not the point of this message its just that i / we lth's went through the very worst of it with selling off of our assets or we were bust , a debt that was about $4b i think , no real operational outputs to note (think it was about 65k barrels a day). making annual losses in the hundreds of millions , ****ty oil prices , no board of directors , no hope of improvement, no gas deals, horrendous hedging prices at the worse time as oil was rocketing.
but ......during that time we clung on with hope of an increase in production (got that). a gas deal (got that..ish), reduction in debt to better gearing ( got that, actually bettered plan). reduction in operational costs and caspex ( got that, saving 100s of millions annually), a massive free cash flow ( starting to see that now), buyback of bonds for the betterment of the company (got that) director buys of shares (got that).........now im sure im missing something, but the point is this, the sp was significantly higher when we were in the s h i t....and all the promises have been exhausted and delivered, so were t f does it go now and on the back of what????????
Doesnt answer the question, 100k is nothing really, i was actually very lucky to get rid of them in small quantities.......couldnt sell 2500 at a time yesterday....nobody wants these, but i was able to buy 40k in one swoop.....
Ok, please tell me im missing something here, lets say that licences are transferred as planned, to PING before the end of this month.......and that PING then submit and get approval for their FDP from NSTA sometime in 2024 as planned..... they then give us $3M which will increase our Mcap by 30%, does this mean that the SP will go up by 30% to a measly 14/15p ??? OR....are people buying for the potential first oil in the future, if so, whats the timescale for this do you think........rough estimates??? and estimated SP up to and then when this happens please.....cheers need to do the math to see if its worth holding or selling everything and going into something else for a few years of returns......cheers
SO......is this good news for us at CMET or is this bad news for us..........im not sure im appreciating the relationship between a separate company (albeit in the same field as us) recruiting someone.......help me understand please.
Unfortunately you can't just throw an RNS out to keep you in the loop. Belive me I've asked lol.
That's what the IR hotline is for, put those questions to them and they will respond. They won't answer them but they will respond with vague statements like "continuing to work hard to succ" ...." of course the company appreciates your investment , and we have your interest at the forefront of all our decision making "its a her/she at the helm here and everyone was really excited when she started about 3 or 4 years ago as thst was Rahul building his own team of proven industry movers and shakers. I have absolutely no idea why this SP is so low despite the ever improving fundamentals, it was twice this when debt was more than double. IMHO I think both private and industry investors have been burned badly on more occasions than they can tolerate by tullow and as with ALL share prices in the market its about confidence, nobody is confident that tullow can deliver on any of its promises, well almost nobody, Anton is a diehard . It has the same outputs , less debt, no windfall tax, gas potential (yeah that's been on the table fir f'ing ages as well) as many of its peers but much much much less Mcap and share price.
It has to be market confidence
If you are looking for longer term investments 5, 10 years or longer that will double or treble every 5 years then go and look at the steady Eddie's . I can recommend APPLIED MATERIALS. .....SMT.......LIONTRUST SPECIAL SITUATIONS.
Sound advice and I'm OK if I lose, as I said no worse off than now and I'm pretty comfortable, but if it comes good it's my kids sorted as well not just my future.....I'm also in very deep with Orcadian energy and if that comes good I am laughing so hedged my bets that one works out, if both do I'm absolutely delighted for 3 generations, if none work out then I fall back on the boring run of the Mill steady Eddie's I've been for years SMT, etc.
