The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I agree with you, Bruce Griffin wanted this with LB, then he wanted a part of it with KB, then he wants it with SR, then he buys into CMET with a part of this, 109% they want a TO with the potential resource increase, expect a TO offer of about 12p ps.
the market decides what the value is not us, not the ceo, not the bank manager......remember trading all started with tulip bulbs worth 10s of thousands of ££££.....worthless **** but people wanted them.......same here, same everywhere, the market will decide.
orca reported yet another stonking rns and its still lacklustre to say the least and that has over £30b , yes billion of assets under their licenced control......their mcap is about £8m...........the market has decided.
good luck all, and try to be nice to each other, we are all in this, nobody is shorting so if we cant be nice then dont be aggressive nor disrespectful to others.

SO......Can this "partner" give us $1.4M wait for almost 2 years (when Pilot will be 2 yrs closer to producing) then say no thanks for the licence but you have 4 weeks to give us back our $1.4M +6% interest...
but we will take your 18.5% pilot income,,,,,,cheers for that ???????
this looks dodgy to say the least or am i too negative?
HEY LW, i have been interested and impressed your steady headed knowledgeable input on this board, cheers buddy.
i dont think there is any way SR dont get this over the line. SR and our new board member Bruce Griffin have massive positive credit with investment bankers/groups after getting Thunderbird over the line and into very profitable takeoff figures recently (the largest globally for 30 years remember)
lets say SR need to borrow $40M to get to self sufficiency on this project and have to pay back $60M over 7 years.
the annual offtake is assumed to be approximately $70m of which $35M is theirs and at 60% margin they will still have $16M EBITDA even after repaying the $5M.....its a no brainer for me.
which leads me to my thoughts that more powerful political hands had a say in all of this since last year when it looked like LB was a shoe in.
why didnt LB buy 10-14% of the company?? Its absolute peanuts to them FFS i have 2.1% lol.
$81M for 10 year payback of approximately $210M and potentially a never in doubt economically friendly supply stream of raw material??? why wouldnt they......
as i said, i think larger influencers than commercial CEO's decided this. USA officially said they were stopping CCP buying resources such as "mineral sands"
i also said previously that "right place, right time" for us was very lucky. i think we have been.
if the above has an element of truth then we are VERY protected by the Sri Lankan Government and this will not and indeed cannot fail.

in my opinion its not spreadex, it makes no sense. perhaps something to do with lb (they are the losers here remember) but they are too large for this tomfoolery so perhaps chinese investors under instruction.
what i do know is that if you see loads of sells you **** a brick and sell. if you see loads of buys you buy as you dont want to miss the boat so my multiple purchases of 100k, 150k and 200k shares within 1hr was very much self preservation and self serving. i had to let go of some smt, lindsell train and tullow oil, the first 2 will claw this back within 12 months.
i needed to stop the rot as this was going to finish about 4.6p at best if left as people would jump if we dropped about 6% after that rns , what would that tell the market
so i kickstarted more buys, people jump in my investments makes more money today and the companies visibility to the outside world looks positive.
your welcome................but i need a hand next time, cheers all

Hey Paul,
Talking of the Geo-political arena......perhaps a "chinese" partner was never going to be green lighted given the current thought process of the west (particularly USA) on resource grabs by the CCP.
Ive spoken of this before and it was discussed in the Senate and Congress. We will never know what happens behind the scenes between governments but we can take a guess at the pressures or persuasive nature of some officials to other decision makers. Perhaps these governments also assist with any finance (definitely happens) that is needed to make the "correct" decision. What is $80M ish to these guys..................its pocket change.
And as usual, nothing to see here.
what needs to happen?? everyone shouting about it doubling and being at least 20p......its down about 4%
why??
You just have to laugh at this share, no rhyme or reason here.
i no longer post frequently on here, this board is toxic now, its a shame. i assume we all want the same thing.
the personal insults on here have no place, cmon all........
Hi all,
as we sit here awaiting news lets look at the situation both for us and global sentiments to investing post covid when a LOT of long term investors got hijacked and saw years of loyalty, dreams and plans destroyed.
we are a company with a 5p SP who have £2.5M in the bank and no mining production. what we have is potential and maybe a plan. However this plan is not within our gift and outwith our control. at the moment.
we have all had a guess at what our share price might be short , mid and longer term.
now, potentially in a few short days, weeks....tomorrow. we may well be a company with over £80M in the bank and a realistic plan for mining production with both a fantastic annual margin and owners of the BEST grade of mineral sands globally. fortunately, luckily and timing wise magical. Mineral sands resource is now a BIG deal in the world of resource. its a very hot commodity thanks to east V west resource battle. there is no rhyme or reason to it but if this is one of their battlegrounds we have been very lucky indeed.
so back to my point......5p SP in a company that has potential and £2.5M VERSUS a company that has all of the above, plus a world renowned partner, a hot commodity, geopolitical games, a government on board and proven quality product. my opinion is when it drops we are going to go to 25p -35p, we will see buying and selling in the millions daily and when we start to offtake the LTH will be rewarded with well over £1 per share.
all of this is caveated because who knows what the market will like or think. there are floundering companies that have huge MCap for no discernible reason and great companies that are peanuts.
the one thing i believe that will make us fly over the next 3 years is this fact.....................WE HAVE NO DEBT. the massive corporate investors hate deabt as they have no control over terms or hedging..........DYOR
the best companies HAVE NO DEBT...
sorry all, i got there eventually, have a good one
