Today's twitter comment from Open Orphan promoting the expansion to a second machine [upon hitting max on first machine] is the very opposite of Cathal's recent 'go easy' comment. Now, there's no holding back.
How can potential new investors ignore this appetizing news feast??

Just imagine all those wellknown UK companies who will be, or have, telephoned Quotient about testing arrangements for their staff. They'll want preferential, straight-forward, streamlined testing with a guaranteed quick turnaround. They'll be seeking access to a testing system that they can return to, at speed, again and again.
It's these enquiries that will be feeding the test rig in London to begin with.

He couldn't be clearer.
Therefore, either Open Orphan [hvivo] will benefit finacially from ALL testing in UK using Quotient's testing rig OR Cathal has allowed his mouth to run away from the facts.
I expect Open Orphan will focus on private clinics and channels to large corps etc and Quotient will engage with NHS to leverage specific machine sales within provincial NHS. If Open Orphan truly do have UK distributor rights then you'd expect royalties of some description to come from Quotient's direct installations with NHS.
Given the amount of machines available it's not even assured that NHS Scotland will be allocated one. Also, such will be the demand i think you'll find Open Orphan will be too busy to worry about NHS Scotland and whether they have their own machine [or access to testing] beyond that offered by Open Orphan.
As i've said several times, Open Orphan require only a small slice of a large pie to make this single element of their wider venture transformational.
