Under 4 weeks to go until results 17th Jan & 70 mil shares are short. As we get closer to results how exactly are they gonna close position without the SP spiking or are they playing both sides collect on the squeeze and then bring the Algos back in to work this down unless the results are that good it never revisit these lows ever again. Such a gamble for the shorts as I’d say the deck is stacked in our favour.. IMO..

Especially Wallace increasing as they seem to have finger on the pulse. Moulding & Allen need to deliver 18th Jan. Shorts might be playing both sides who knows we just need good results..

Nice one @canary add to that the freight prices 50% lower Whey 50% lower Fuel 40% lower + (Government business energy discount) US sales strong in $ we might be Ok..

I bought 9816 earlier @48.1p I will keep topping up when cash allows it.. Nothing has changed for me from when this was 70p a few weeks ago & I believe results will be good maybe a rabbit for long suffering shareholders but my main play is a Macro Infostion interest rates play when I believe the narrative changes March April when inflation is more like 5% in US & 7% here the rate rises will have to Stop.. IMO DYOR.

The Macro situation only nothing THG related to drop SP just hold the line for 3 weeks results. Certainly these latest digs will hopefully get Moulding & Lord Allen a bit fired up to finally deliver on the 17th…

Guardian article correction

This article was amended on 20 December 2022 to remove reference to THG cashflow being “under pressure”. While a reduction in insurance cover can affect a company’s cashflow, the article did not intend to suggest THG would be in serious financial difficulty because of it. As the article reports, sources close to THG say the insurance change has no bearing on THG’s financial position.

Ingenuity is the Drag so yes why not cut Capex & surplus staff at Ingenuity until you land more big clients then ramp it up if it’s required..

All I can say is if Moulding hadn’t got £800 Mil out of SoftBank @£5.96 we wouldn’t have these levers to pull with Capex etc so he needs credit for getting that deal over the line otherwise this is a different conversation…

Whey price down again! It peaked at €1500 a tonne it is now €830 a tonne. It peaked March-May which would have been a huge headwind into the Q2 & Q3 results. Q4 results we should now be benefiting from the lower prices into this set of results…

Let’s get 2022 behind us and good riddance. 2023 things looks brighter on both the Macro with inflation dropping & the clock ticking for the Golden Share so we have a time limit I’d say by April May Moulding would want to have made his move. In the meantime we have the results 17th Jan. So bring on 2023 I say..

Not a good idea to sell Nutrition is my opinion I would rather a whale like Nestle takes a percentage of Nutrition. They have done similar deals in the past.. I’d also by interested in other views on this..IMO
