Why is everyone saying fake drop? Looks pretty standard and justified to me.

There isn't always a conspiracy behind price drops. The SP is a gauge of market sentiment and mood. This board is a gauge of peoples delusions.

................No confidence in any immediate support holding here. 50m quid at 120p and that's one of the easiest drops through a placing issue price I've seen in my life. It proves the market has little confidence in the company at the moment, including many of the people who took the placing IMO.

The company has simply taken what it could get to pay it's inflated wages through the impending economic depression IMO. They wanted to make sure they had plenty of money to sponge off going forward IMO. Those rampy RNS's prior to the placing are even more suspicious now IMO. "Ahead of schedule" they said. Not from where I'm standing. The market is moving on without them. There'll be a vaccine before they get anything to market here the way things are going.

.............Going much lower today again. People always mock when you state the truth based on fundamentals and technical analysis. "Hold on to you golden tickets" and all that krap. "Don't be scared out". morons have been saying that since 215p. If people had traded with their gut they would be a lot better off rather than listening to people on here. It's a disgrace that anyone invests based on the tosh posted on LSE.

If investors spent more time holding the boards of companies like this to account rather than justifying every dirty stunt they pull and convincing fellow investors to ride out one rinsing to the next with a gormless twhat smile on their face people may actually get somewhere in this game. TW is right, this place is a complete asylum.

I think you'll find my opinions are relevant to the news that was known at the time. Aren't you more wary after recent developments. Alastair led people to believe everything was happening at break neck speed. My opinions reflect time and place. Of course you believe in supporting a company even when it doesn't deliver on promises and rinses investors in a mega placing instead. Well done you. I'm sure you do very well on the AIM.

It's repetitive because we have old problems that have yet to be resolved, just a set of investors who are sore from an obscene placing at an obscene price.

After all the rampy RNS's to get the price up to raise an obscene amount of money. The company has started showing it's true colours and is currently dithering like an old woman with it's vague statements being released by Alastair IMO. Moving focus from the rapid test, moving the original late May date as touted by Alastair in the finncap interview to late June. Mid-summer became summer, which sounds like at least a months delay from what was originally hinted at before rinsing investors. Now we have SONA likely to be the first to market by several months. The market share that is going to be lost will be considerable if SONA is able to secure big contracts for months before AVCT even has a prototype to trial. Starting to feel like a bit of a shambles this one now IMO. Lots of irons in the fire and none of them doing anything. Can see another brutal week for AVCT unless Cytiva actually delivers something tomorrow.

What I mean is. If they haven't the prototype to begin with, what data could they possibly supply. Pretty self explanatory really. Prior to them putting the reagents onto a test strip (The prototype), how else could they possibly compile data. Unless by data he meant them simply reporting their opinion on the reagents after they were received. Something along the lines of, "oh they're very nice aren't they" perhaps.

So where is the data?

So Alastair is organising surprises for us all now. How lovely of him. Fingers crossed it's better than the 50 million quid one he organised a week ago.

Look up the finncap interview. He clearly says end of May/Early June. Now he's saying end of June, which no doubt will turn into early July.

He said in the interview that the prototype would be ready by the end of May, now he's saying end of June. Mid Summer has also become Summer. Slippage is quite apparent, but feel free to bury your head in the sand Sparticus.

If it was in the bag we wouldn't have any delay. Mid-Summer has slipped to Summer, so something has gone wrong hasn't it. Not to mention if this slips any further, they could have a great test that's not needed. It needs to be on the market before the second wave begins. If it isn't that's 10's of millions down the pan.

.............Alastair shifting the focus to cancer treatment in the first presentation yesterday, after the obscene placing understandably has made investors very nervous indeed. Not sure people like Alastair can get it through their thick heads what the outside world prioritises as a deadly virus lays waste to nations and their economies. Apparently he thinks a cancer treatment that won't even be anywhere near ready for production years in the future is what will invigorate everyone. The shift in focus leads people to believe that perhaps the rapid test has hit a snag along with an unexplained delay of a month so far. Perhaps it is all going fine, but I would argue is Alastair has either been misleading or he's completely out of touch and living with the unicorns IMO.

With the worlds economy near total collapse and Covid 19 laying waste to the population, I'd wager the market couldn't give a stuff about anything Alastair has to say about the other treatments AVCT has to offer regardless of how good they may be. Covid19 and treatments/diagnostics are the only things that matter to investors. Products the company may have to production 2 years from now people really couldn't care less about and I agree with them.

Alastair set the timescales. Alastair said we'd have news by the end of May on the test. Can't blame investors for worrying now the company hasn't delivered on that.

I've know a lot of destitute people on the AIM with the patience of a saint.

.......The company promised so much, including being funded for the foreseeable. My concern is that the placing is the first step backwards of a great many to come. Why is Cytiva taking so long? I think the placing was an attempt to raise money at an inflated price while they still can, because the board know there are some major bumps ahead IMO. No doubt once the people who were allowed to buy in at 120p have made their money we'll find out what's gone wrong here IMO. The placing doesn't make sense at all if everything is going to plan.
