With Slingo Reel King launch due shortly, what can we expect next?

Slingo Starburst could be up next, maybe as early as January. It's their first collaboration with NetEnt and is hotly anticipated, with WhichBingo already hoping for more releases to come out of the partnership.

When the collaboration was first announced, WhichBingo posted up a wishlist of other NetEnt games it would like to be given the Slingo treatment. These included Gonzo's Quest, GunsNRoses, Invisible Man and Twin Spin.

Let's see how many of their wishes are granted in 2021.

The online gambling sector is growing at such a pace now that I think it would be more helpful if GMR switched to quarterly reporting. The last trading update we had was the interims in early September, so if they were reporting quarterly we'd be due another one about now, and it feels to me like we could really do with another one right about now.

The loan is not due for another two years. The company is ALREADY operating cash-flow positive and had £1.9mill in the bank on 1 Sep plus £1.5mill due in shortly, so they could already cover it in theory and in two years time shouldn't be a problem. Of course we could get bought out before then anyway.

Looks like the Michigan legislature has waived the usual waiting period and so full steam ahead for online gambling to begin. Still has to go back to gaming board to finalise but could be by Christmas or New Year - the latest I would suggest is end of January as they will want it up and running before the Superbowl.

So another state coming online to take our Slingo games. Looking good!

Slingo Reel King set to launch early. Originally slated for a 2021 release, it is now set to launch on 24 December.

New games are coming thick and fast out of the GMR tech team and all these new additions will eventually feed through to growth in the bottom line.

Traders may cause a bumpy ride between news events but with all the new deals and new games being produced, I'm looking forward to the day the next set of figures are released to see what impact the US is starting to have.

With individual US states only just starting to open up to online gambling, this is a massive new revenue source for us and can only continue to grow and we've already seen the amazing growth figures reported by our US partner RSI.

Welcome Pompal. As you say there is only positive news coming out of GMR but people like to trade in and out between news, depending on what the rest of the market is doing. Certainly when all the recent partnerships and new game launches filter through to the financials it should make good reading. Patience is a virtue that will be well rewarded here I think. I wouldn't want to get caught out when the next important RNS is released. You never know when it's coming!

These short term fluctuations could be seen as a good opportunity to buy in by those who've been waiting on the sidelines, put off by the sharp rise over the past few months. Lots of uncertainty in the world at the moment but the next good news RNS from GMR, whenever it comes, would counteract all that.

Bad day on the markets yesterday but someone took the opportunity to pick up half a million GMR at 22p.

In the US, BetMGM in New Jersey ran a $1.5m casino super series over the course of a month (post-H1). During the first week, the seven games featured were Slingo games.

The US (New Jersey) accounted for 56 per cent of H1 revenue at £2.9m and licence applications are in progress for Pennsylvania and Michigan. Slingo games account for between 3.5 and 4 per cent of New Jersey’s entire online casino gross gaming revenue and Segal is confident the company can replicate that in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

The company is also in the process of recruiting a new chief technology officer, who is due to join his new colleagues in a few weeks. “We had a great team before but we are now bringing in specialists in the licensing business with experience in building games and distributing them,” says Segal.

Segal says the company will launch in Spain, Italy and Denmark over the next 6 to 12 months.
