Mineral Port at Pointe Noire SEZ9 Nov 2024 07:17
I normally do not like repeating posts across the 2 boards, but this is so important it deserves to be seen by all.
The most important real (!) news, imo, in the last few months..
Thanks to MM for posting..

On November 7, I chaired the first meeting of the Public-Private Partnership Technical Committee. This session brought together seven members of the government to examine three projects led by private companies wishing to collaborate with the State.
The projects presented included the deployment of software to optimize customs revenue, the modernization of the national printing house to produce secure administrative documents, and THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A BULK PORT DEDICATED TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE POINTE-NOIRE SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE.
At the end of this working session, THE GOVERNMENT GAVE ITS APPROVAL TO THE PROPOSED PROJECTS. They will soon be the subject of agreements between the State and the supporting companies, which will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors to stimulate the economic growth of our nation.

## the fact that this is not yet anoyher government kick in the grass announcement, rather it is private companies going to the government for port go ahead is highly significant. This is independent confirmation that the the SEZ bulk port is going ahead which tells me that Zanaga is about to kick off. I expect a deal to be announced in the coming days or weeks..Stage 1? or are they going for the whole bundle? I do not see the EPP being of any consequence. The FEED funding is also a small side show, imo, it needs a bigger deal to contain it..
The current SP is a joke and I have made full use of it in the last week and hold the most shares by far than I ever have (by my small means π). Exciting times.
