So when the so-called research does not pan out as expected, panic ensues. But research is only half the story, analysis of risks is prime and listening to other opinions. I am intrigued to see how the EPP plays out. I think it will go ahead with end user contract finance. But I think there will also may be a placing to raise cash as the coffers are low. Before everyone howls at this, my guess is it could be a premium placing, say 30p+ per share for 10% of company?? Probably one organisation may buy in? Pure speculation on my part, but the company does need day to day cash soonish.

By buying shares on the open market you are not directly "financing" anything. A common fallacy.
