Imagine if Budd ****s this up again and doesn’t sell any AIHL machines. It seems inconceivable. The NICE involvement will influence the NHS but in the meantime sales should be happening. It’s ready to go so what’s the delay I wonder.

With holiday prices increasing it has to mean they are selling. Plus unlike previous years the deals are very very sparse. As the CEO said during the results presentation, they don’t need to. I think they are doing really well. Certainly been a good day today which was overdue!

Surely if there are loads of cancellations the availability increases which drives prices down. This week it’s gone up £122pp so not sure of your logic at all. People are booking and paying good money. Sorry if this isn’t what you wanted to hear masaimara!

If we doubted how well TUI are doing we needn’t worry. As we know when demand increases prices do to. I paid £830 for a TUI Blue hotel in Majorca next Easter a few weeks back. Just looked and it’s now £952pp.

It’s going to take a while but TUI will recover.

Very good post Grimshady - thank you. Given your logic it is a good step forward and as you said they will recommend. As GDR can sell now let’s hope they do and then once the best practice advice comes all NHS hospitals feel obliged to invest. It is great technology. We do all have our own agenda’s - in life and in most situations either consciously or sub-consciously the question is ‘what’s in it for me!

This may cheer you up. I reflected on another share board how I don’t know what I am doing really and just looking to make cash quite easily. I thought I was alone but from the reaction think not. How many points you do you score here (one if it’s you)? If it’s not your thing just ignore me (most people do):-

1. Despite knowing it hardly ever works buying and hoping for a quick instant profit you still try it

2. You have bought for the reason above and when it’s instantly started to plunge sold with hours / minutes through sheer panic

3. You have an idea of the things most people would know about that affect share performance but there’s loads you have no clue about. If someone mentions any of those mysteries you say to yourself ‘I don’t really know what I’m doing’.

4. You don’t really know how MM”s influence the prices but after a while pretend you do.

5. To start with you thought ‘I wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend’ mattered

6. To start with you believed those predicting astronomical increases but even though you know it won’t happen still work out how much you would have if it came true.

7. You still get spooked by derampers even though you know they are talking tosh sometimes.

8. Your other half has no idea you have shares in unusual companies (it’s like having an affair with the FTSE). If they did know and you said it will come back they would never stop going on about it

9. You hear things on the news or see them in the paper convinced it will affect your share positively or negatively and it makes no difference or does the complete opposite.

10. You check the price 100 times each day, promise yourself you will stop checking then a minute later check it again. You may even look again at the weekend even though it isn’t going to change until Monday morning!

I agree Giant. I don’t know of a single person who has cancelled. If people have to wait 6 hours rather than 2 at the airport they just say we will wait, have a few drinks and carry on. Trust me people will fall behind on the utility bills long before they consider cancelling a holiday.

It all seems like a good idea at the time Bob. For years I have bought thinking they will go up quickly and I will get out and feel smug with an easy profit. Why I think it will work I have no idea as other than the odd fluke it always goes tits up. If I am honest I don’t really know enough about what impacts the price movements. Of course there’s the obvious things but soo much in the background impacting that I didn’t even know existed. Guess I am not alone in this or in the fact I haven’t shared my investing disasters with my much better half. Just hoping it goes back up before anyone notices lol. It’s like having an affair with the FTSE!

I’ve lost heart lately. I feel as if I’m the only one who thinks this has been a really poor day. A reasonably positive RNS and the price falls. Surely if the market think NICE recommending would be a good thing this should be 26/27p. I seriously need some positive vibes sent.

If anyone doesn’t mind sharing what is everyone’s break even price? £2.21 here. About £1.6k down.

Usernamed - although I take your point I have been negative lately it’s harsh to say ALWAYS. I simply have had the positivity knocked out of me as like it or not GDR DO NOT have a good sales record. May I also add that investors who spend big money DO NOT think ‘let’s have a little look at the LSE bulletin board’ and if it looks good invest several million. This board is great fun with some good insight but is essentially Facebook for investors. Like many, I spend too much time on here but no longer get exited just because John from down the road predicts great things. The excitement comes from a huge RNS. Fair enough if you think I am negative, I DO NOT really give a monkeypox what you think. The sales and history speak for themselves. I do however hope Mr Budd and his band of merry men prove me wrong but DO NOT hold out much hope based on history. I could sell and overall would be just in profit but prefer to stay and moan. Ah well onwards and downwards!

And this is the thing Nissan. One good bounce and people will be out in their droves. Hardly blame them. Most are happy to just break even now and move onto something where the CEO and BOD have half a chance if building something big and sustainable.

I’ll say it - the board and sales team are useless. Unless anyone buys them out this is going nowhere. What an absolute pile of rubbish.

Never ever known a CEO to fail to capitalise on products with zero sales as competently as Mr Budd. There’s two possibilities here - either they are not telling the truth about products and when reality bites they are not as good as claimed or there is a network of people ‘in the know’ somewhere getting very rich from the occasional rises when these untruths are being told. For goodness sake sell something decent man or move on and give the chance so someone who can.

Yes that’s right HeadingNorth, a multi-billion company will fall as a couple of people had a bad experience (which I absolutely sympathise with). You pick the most minute negativity and make it sound like the apocalypse. TUI are selling more holidays at the the moment than ever. This will take time and won’t fully recover but will move upwards mid-term. Most people have fantastic holidays with TUI and long may it continue. I for one spend £5-6K with them most years and can’t wait to book more in the future.

It’s not a 5 year low. It went to £1.66 not that long ago. The recent RNS outlined about the debt being paid down. Sounds as if you are doing all you can to talk the price down iParsnip. We can see what you are up to a mile off.

The approval of the COV-19 test was never going to do much as simply too late. A positive is in getting approval it shows from a product point of view they do things properly which bodes well for future product development.

Let’s hope the AIHL news comes soon with positive distribution sales. Don’t see it getting past 50p or so even when that news is released but that would be a great start.
