Lots of arguing on here - but can we agree ni sales and no news means just one things. Prepare for 10p again!

While I agree optimism is better than pessimism one thing seriously missing here is realism. I’ve even read today the price going down is deemed a ‘good thing’.

Bottom line is the price is just drifting further and further down off the back of no news and no sales. And before you say it this is not a case of ‘no news is good news’.

I would Imagine the £125k sale today is due to them being fed up waiting. If Budd doesn’t get his backside into gear many more will follow.

Covid is here to stay but don’t kid yourself GDR will cash in - if they couldn’t when things were catastrophic they won’t now for most it’s now just like a heavy cold.

Is optimism with AIHL which with good news will push the price up but again I wouldn’t hold your breath.

The doom and gloom mongers are frustrating but so are those who wear nothing but rose tinted glasses. Balance is never a bad thing.

Nice increase based on pretty much nothing other than sentiment.

Had it not gone past where it ended everyone would be happy (other than those desperate for it to go down). Only because it hit 24.50 are some disappointed.

Let’s all agree Covid has flared up again.

From a business perspective whether it gets worse, better or whatever matters not if like last time Budd has zero sales. It’s like manufacturing snow shovels, getting excited when it snows but selling no shovels. Budd needs to sell shovels or shove off!

For the good of all of us, let’s hope covid soon starts to go away.

I know that several of you have been here for a good number of years invested in GDR. Does anybody recall if any of their products have reached the national news before or if AIHL is the first?

I would be totally surprised if the NHS agreed for this being showcased with their support if they were not certain they were going to be using it. Imagine if you are parents of a baby that loses its hearing and are aware of the technology. I can’t think of one excuse they could make. Logically it will be the thing that gives the share price a real boost.

Beech, I take your point. Twitter is ok socially but very, very little business is done. There’s millions of tweets each day across the globe so I doubt anyone other than us sees it. They have, wait for it ………..1666 followers! Says it all. Most of them are us mugs!

However positive you are, however optimistic, you can’t argue that GDR sell things as they don’t. I’m not sure how they keep going.

To be fair to Penny he is right. Yes we are still in the pandemic but nowhere like before (at a the moment) and the test was available when things were really bad and there were no sales. I appreciate the need to stay positive (for GDR not covid that is) but sometimes the negative is needed for balance.

The NHS have zero reasons to say no. Not even cost as effectively they then put a price on a child’s hearing.

Have to say, we need to stop making excuses for GDR - just get selling!

If GDR was a friend and they asked you to lend them money to help generate money in the future you would ask them how well they had done in the past. When they replied ‘well I haven’t sold anything yet’ you would run a mile. GDR have had plenty of time and funds but have sold FA! Either they start selling in the UK soon or are on the road to destruction. They are like the punters on Dragon Den who get laughed off the stage.

The TUI price will turn for the better soon. It’s completely different to the Thomas Cook model as they didn’t keep up with technology or with the times generally. TUI have and are in fact doing very well with their TUI Blue offering and cruises. Several shops have closed and I suspect more will follow. The replacement CEO still has to pick up the pieces from covid but I think we will see fantastic sales at the next quarterly update. The share price won’t get back to the dizzy heights of £17.00 but £5.00 is very achievable. On any LSE BB the doom and gloom mongers all appear when things are tough. Once it picks up you never tend to hear from them again.

I’m with you iParsnip. It’s a absolute **** show. I still say the timing of the PI dilution just as it was picking up is where much of the blame lies. Literally everything went up well tho day and this goes down 4%. Hopefully it will turn soon if not the whole board are in trouble. I think they are making decent sales but the communication and treatment of private investors is probably as bad as it gets.

The CEO was without doubt binned off and so he should be. The share price has been nothing short of a disaster. It was like a premier league team losing 15 games on the trot. I would imagine there was an interview process to replace him so let’s hope they got the preferred person in. Should have gone outside really but time will tell. Would not be at all surprised to see them taken over but keep the TUI name.

My scathing comments are driven by the share price btw.

The CEO going is no bad thing. Let’s face it the timing of the capital raise recently was abysmal (unless forced) and I would not be surprised all if the major investors haven’t prompted this resignation. Although it says 30 Sep 22 he will have cleared his desk already. Hopefully get a respected trouble shooter in to replace him. Let’s face it whoever it is will do well to do worse (famous last words - people said that about Theresa May)!

Think we are being quite lenient on GDR. There’s always an excuse but the bottom line is they just don’t turn ideas into sales. We have some on here hoping for covid to return in the vain hope the GDR test will be a winner (prefer covid to stay away please). There will probably be loads of tests that give quick results now and will probably be cheaper than the GDR solution. As for AIHL, it was approved and been on the news etc but momentum has been lost. Who on earth wants to take over a company that doesn’t sell anything? They literally sell nothing. No doubt a few more will filter me which is fair enough. If you want to prove me wrong with sales data I will apologise.
