I received this E mail this morning from Strand Hanson. It only really confirms what we already know. Thank you for your email. As per the RNS announcement of 12 February 2010, Canisp is currently in early stage discussions regarding possible acquisitions. These discussions remain on-going and further announcements will be released in due course, once more details have been confirmed. I am afraid that at this point time I cannot provide any further details on this matter. Please be aware however that the deadline of 30 March 2010 is purely to place the Company into suspension (which is already the case), from which point Canisp has a further six months to implement its investment strategy prior to mandatory delisting. from the highly respected Hooster over on ADVFN:- HOOTSTER - 30 Mar'10 - 11:54 - 814 of 817 Ok havn't posted for a while as some of the rubbish posted on here is not even worth responding to but I can put the record straight that Canisp will not face automatic 6 month suspension tomorrow this is because it was the company that requested suspension and therefore does not fall into this situation(I have this on good authority) there will be no RNS tomorrow and CN. are busy finalising the deal as we speak so as and when they are ready to announce to the market and issue the neccesary Shareholder circular trading can then resume. For those that are Interested SRSP can expect results any day and with that there is the Possibility of an update. So Sleep Tight Peeps I am sure there is a Happy Ending ;-) REGARDS THE HOOT........

OK if its oil why can't you tell us which oil company it is ? Alot of speculation now says it could be Mantle Diamonds. I don't think anyone knows for sure yet and it may be a while before we find out.
