Hi mact4, I think it is great that we are vaccinating the most vulnerable but the decision to delay the second dose as tested in the trial is sheer lunacy (https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-vaccine-doses-shouldnt-be-more-than-six-weeks-apart-scientist-behind-pfizer-biontech-jab-says-12215576).
You already had a big majority of individuals who now believe they are invincible because they have had the vaccine and yet no one truly know how effective the vaccines are after one dose (not part of the trial).
Last summer we nearly nipped covid19 in the bud but here we are again after our governments eagerness to get back to normal with schools, universities and our "eat out to help out covid19" campaign...
None of us are enjoying the lockdowns which is why drugs like SNG001 will be part of the way out of this.
Just curious, what percentage of people going out do you think will have been vaccinated before we come out of another lockdown - not rocket science...

Can anyone make sense of our vaccine programme? We have locked down to stem the spread of coronavirus and vaccinating those most likely to die from this awful virus but once things open up, the vast majority of individuals going out won't have had a vaccine.
The vaccine programme is fantastic news for Saga holidays as all the golden oldies will be able to holiday as if we truly need to prove we have had the vaccine, then the rest of us will be stuck here.
If you are in the older age bracket remember to put aside £1750 a piece for you hotel stay on your return and don't listen to the Pfizer lead covid19 scientist that a second dose is required within 3-6 weeks, you'll be fine...

Synairgen had positive results last July and has approval for its COPD treatment so not a one trick pony.

Who is with me thinking Synairgen is an 80/20 bet?
We know they had good results last July but since then governments have played the vaccine card. Now both the USA and UK along with lots of other countries are moving their focus to drugs to help people with Covid19.
Synairgen had approval for SNG001 for COPD this is really just a repurpose, just got to hope it is effective against variants and then happy days...

Recognition the only way out of coronavirus is a flu like cure that you take at home...

Just watching BBC News there is a consensus that covid19 isn't going anywhere which we all knew. This only strengthens the case for SNG001

Sold a couple of months ago at £1.20 due to potential strike action and now it is getting closer.
I will jump back in at £1 which will come around fairly quick if strikes kick in...

Was just discussing Covid19 with my wife and would be interested if anyone else agrees with my conclusion;
1. Either the virus will be eradicated completely, which isn't going to happen anytime soon or
2. Treatments like Synairgen that can prevent bad symptoms are the way to go...
Vaccines are great but a couple of mutations in and we already know they need modifying (like the flu jab). However, most of us use flu remedies (or honey and lemon) and get on with it...
