If there was pending news, the Directors could NOT sell their shares, this would be classed as insider dealing and is illegal for obvious reasons.
They have only sold half of the granted options and this is highly likely to have been agreed with their investor (you wouldn't pump £80m into a company for the directors to bail).

Chaps, lets wait and see but I am confident. Coronavirus isn't going anywhere and when Austerity kicks in the UK of the back of furlough / grants, the number crunchers will convince the government that £3 a vaccine is actually terrible value when you consider the amount of people you are vaccinating that don't need it.

Hi Fruitsnveg, if you analyse the data and studies that are going on, you will see that it is you that are wrong. I stated previously that another stakeholder was investing as funds generally buy in sizeable chunks, small enough as to not be noticed but large enough to not make buying overly tiresome.
Synairgen themselves are pushing for good P3 data, this was a big part of the £80m equity injection.

P3 will be announced before the end of September, doesn't matter how much Polygon own

I brought another 10k share yesterday. These funds do there research and the surge in cases across the globe pre-flu season is a massive reason for governments to push on these additional treatments.

The economics of vaccines will enviably be there undoing.
AZ is cheap at around £3 per shot but if you vaccinate 1,000 people you then have a cost of £3,000 the same as synairgen. On the basis that we are looking to vaccinate c.40m people and around 0.2% of the people actually need a vaccine, that is < 80,000. SNG would cost 80,000 x 3,000 = £24m, the cheapest vaccine would be £120m + double to actually administer the vaccine (Pfizer is around £24 if my memory is correct).
So, keep paying out over £1bn pa or move to something that stops people dying when they need it... (No brainer)

The share price shift is allowing dabblers to make quick profits but those in for the long term will reap the best rewards!

On the bright side of things we have only had positive data for SNG and with countries now waking up to long covid, it will be useful on two fronts.
Bigger companies get things done quicker but Synairgen raised funds to expand its own programmes and I would assume ACTIV-2 will review all positive data

Clarkson even getting behind hydrogen, PHE will do well just need to bear with them

Most countries are starting to closedown night clubs and reintroduce masks due to surges in cases. In the UK our numbers have fallen as schools have closed and people are on holiday.
ALL medics and the UK government are readying themselves for Autumn when there will be a massive surge.
Coronavirus is not going anywhere and anyone who thinks differently either has their head in the sand or is not very bright...

I think the point is that the UK government is preparing from more blood clotting side effects which will then lead to more apathy around vaccines...

Autumn will be upon us soon along with the third / fourth wave...

I think the approach being taken by the company is right, release information when the data supports your comments.
If things go pear shape you will see director sales, currently they are all holding and lets face it, its not like coronavirus is going anywhere...
