Hi.......keep calm
I reckon a lot of this fall is pi's taking profits to put into their other favourite .....Wishbone atm. This then creates a panic situation........more sells.
They will be back on mass shortly......when Wishbone hit 24+.......imho......dyor
Peter N.....
...... a rare outing for Coventry.......?
Woodstock 1970........most LTH will remember you cracked and sold most your shares the friday before Manic monday...so you missed out. We all tried to encourage you not to do so. Please do not do the same again. A little more courage.....and a little more time.
Ghia......a great resume as usual
Everyone else.......if 'Woody' is showing the pressure........historically this is a good sign of imminent news!
Pensionfund............too right, do not be left without.
But remember there are a lot of LTH with many hundreds of thousand shares....which since Manic Monday are now derisked and on a free run........and long to be transferred to a tax shelter, ISA or SIPP. I think most people on these bbs, will be funding ISAs from their existing shares.......each to their own risk levels and timing....... GLA
Pension fund.......good one.
Many reasons to keep calm but....
Consider the 1000s of UK pi who are selling shares in their 'Fund and Share' accounts this last week.....to raise money to repurchase the same shares in their ISA accounts after Easter in the new financial year.
With the timing of Easter this has become a compressed procedure this year, again exaggerated by the pressures of possible SNG news early in Q2 ensuring a bit of urgency.
Potentially those 1000 investors could be selling £20m worth of shares this month.....to rebuy £20m next month....
Adds a bit of spice this year......don't you think?
Org.....remember your research......
15 years of research by Synairgen says this is an affective 'broad spectrum' anti-viral. It is therefore not reliant entirely on the Covid pandemic. Additionally as said, there is stockpiling.
Also remember that although deaths are reduced in the under 60s, 'long covid' is not. I know many relative youngsters who will now never manage a 'round of golf'......how would you consider that as a risk?
mytton......the fund was always intended for long term......and right now would have been hugely in profit......perhaps he was unlucky ...to be fair. The real criminal was Link selling them so cheaply....
I believe the new fund will be for Institutional Investors only and based outside UK (Jersey)
