Did you note any sizeable buys to match those "sells" ?
Can't say that I did. How long a period could Mr L have been buying over before he needed to notify?

If they register the buy so that we can see it, there would need to be shares to sell to Mr L, but there were nowhere near that amount sold at less than .21. The MM's are not charitable, to accept that price they had to have shares available to sell. The amount of small sells at .205 wouldn't scratch the surface.
I watch the trades often, and remain in the dark.

Well, that's a theory, but the test of the theory would be to find an explanation of where the 41m and the 13m shares came from? Unless they are going to report a truly massive amount of sells at sub .21, there still isn't an explanation.
We know for sure that the first transaction was a sell to Mr Lucas, but where did they find them to sell to him?

I think we may see more unexplainable large movements yet.

Well, judging by the volume of sells posted at sub .21, there would have to be a lot more to be reported.
Thanks to Bern for pointing out the rule, that does eliminate a company sell. If it were RS or RJM, then surely we would have seen a notable size of sell to balance the buy? We saw a few small sells at .205 immediately prior, but adding those up wouldn't scratch the surface of a 41 m buy. MM's just wouldn't take that trade unless they thought they could fill it at a profit. Perhaps that will mean they'll sell a load short n the coming days, trying to spook sales out of holders. Good luck to them with that strategy, can't see it working after we've seen someone weigh out nearly £90k.

When they did the last OO, they asked anyone who was considering buying a large amount to contact them initially. Do they hold "Treasury" shares that they could sell direct?

The system here is set up to show anything below the posted Mid price as a sell. If someone agrees to sell at a lower price then LSE will automatically show red. But market makers can, and do, shift stuff around to confuse. We all have to accept it is within the rules of the game, and not pay too much attention to those red or blue trades.

It sure fooled one poster, who stridently announced it as a sell with the full authority of his Guild of Misleading Wishful Thinkers credentials.

If he has £86k to spare he certainly got a low price for them. Company says there were 8.8% not in public hands, but MM's hadn't accumulated sells of anywhere near that amount at less than .21.

He is only a tad behind DSM as a major holder now.

Given that the company is still in the investment in growth phase, something you must have noted when you decided to buy, you will realise that in order to pay cash for sponsorship, funding by the issue of shares would have been needed. Therefore there is zero difference.

The sort of thing a spread better/CFD trader would do and say perhaps?
