Aye well, for a start, over five years would take you back to 08. when the Provexis sp was sub 1p, but as usual folks add time on. You talk of the spike, which was to 17 because nobody sold at over, there was a single trade (if it was real) at 23. Fact is, with the benefit of hindsight, those who bought high then we making a big mistake, it has risen far to high far too fast when the project was not even out of the lab at that stage. Makes me sigh when I see folks blaming others for their own decisions, AIM isnt like that is it. They had a clearly stated policy of growth by acquisition, so any holder was factoring in that, and indeed that is what they did. I see many blaming that for the fall in the sp, but I believe it was the lack of market response to FF1, causing delays and much higher investment to create FF2.
As for the spike here, yes, selling then could have been a good move in hindsight. As I have a hefty CGT bill anyway, I didnt, and intend to hold for the long term. Each to their own.
As for the man selling, yes he did, history, but here they are tied in to holding contracually/
This business is growing, with huge further growth potential, that is the way I am judging it. They will need more cash for the next phase, so if that is a worry folks should act accordingly IMHO, but it doesnt worry me.
