Johnny et al, sorry I'm not going to have time to fully go through and work out what happened on Friday as I am preparing for the upcoming international flow battery forum meeting in Lyon. I'm sure the arrival of these huge trades after hours will not be without some effect, and I fully expect more delayed trades to turn up.

If anyone is still sitting on the sidelines after all the good news that we've had in the last couple of months then I give up as there is nothing that I can say that will encourage those to invest on a fundamental basis... so good luck with whatever it is you think you are doing. I for one will be continuing to make the effort to attend and report on the Vanitec Energy Storage Committee meetings and International Energy Storage conferences. No doubt those that appreciate that will show their approval in the conventional way.

AdamP100 - you clearly don't understand the use of the term 'tame' - it relates to a seller who has handed the keys to the car over to the Market Makers - this is what you have to do if you have tens of millions of shares to sell - it is called 'working' a sell.

I might better be called 'working over the seller' because the trouble is that the Market Makers then simply sell to PI's at high prices and then later move the price down to take shares off the tame seller at low prices. This way the market makers can short the stock without any risk to themselves and make multiple times the spread that is evident at any other time.

Fyoz - to put it another way it would be the equivalent of two new Vametco plants, each with a 20 year life. When you put it like that you can see that it is potentially significant.

Ohh did we just buy a Vanadium processing plant with 3 rotary kilns ? Not quite, not just yet, but it is clearly in the bag.

As an aside it is worth noting that Vametco has already been going for more than 50 years.

Kingpin - I cannot say for certain if those are correct efficiency rates, Ophidian has a proper model and would be able to state more definitively, mine are simply a back of an envelope calculation that gives you a lifetime that is very very big . Many mines are assumed to only run for 20 years.

KingPin - well Vametco is 719,000 tonnes of Vanadium Inferred and Indicated, this adds another 175,000 tonnes to that making 894,000 tonnes V in magnetite in all.

If Vametco operates at the constant capacity of 3,400 tpaV , assuming 80% extraction efficiency, you would need to mine 4,250 tpaV. Thus this resource will last for 210 years.

vauch - it all depends on whether you like buying shares at arbitrarily suppressed prices. I know I do which is why I acquired another 10 grands worth earlier in the week.

Bella - an ETF simply buys and sells shares when people buy and sell shares in it. It has no interest in the price of Vanadium and also will not have a 'single move close out' they are an ETF not a investment fund so they simply mirror an Index, in this case the MVIS Rare Earth and Strategic metals index.

Possibly squirty but they have already sold around 500K more than they have bought from us today so unless there are some further big prints from the tame seller or from Vaneck I am not so sure. I'm still open to the possibility that this is actually a sell, and from Vaneck - we'll know in the next day or two.

Bella the 18th and 19th Jun percentage deltas for BMN are not the same as for Largo, but for every day before that they are. There is clearly some rebalancing going on within the ETF and so the changes are not going to be all down to Vaneck.
