I think the next round of aid is going to also help Ukraine increase its own manufacturing capacity. The west might not like supplying Ukraine with long range missiles but helping them produce their own is a different matter. The bravado coming out the Kremlin and its global network of professional liars won’t last forever.

Unfortunately that’s where Ukraine is. Hangover from being part of the Soviet Union. I’d be interested to see where the likes of Poland, Latvia etc were 20-30 years ago. I’d guess all Eastern European countries were high up on the list at one point. Putin has actually embraced corruption as a legitimate form of government. The effects of which are showing in the performance of his military. Hopefully Ukraine can break out the corruption cycle.
