Thanks Crooks ', our positives remain on the US front . Interestingly 888 and BET are down today and LAD have had a sell recommendation. I think we will be in talks with MGM and Boyd on expansion strategy so the next states will be crucial. I wonder when the next news will come.

Well done Malta, had topped up myself ,touched 117 earlier and will be 120 sometime tomorrow. Hope the NJ stats show positive angle on projected income. What do you think of the non regulated Poker sites such as Dollaro and the one in Malta - have you tried any of these and compared with Bwin ?

Hi Crooks, Perhaps the DGE and the pro taxing and regulation lobby will put pressure on the Feds to block unregulated sites (money laundering) etc. This can happen in Europe too and elsewhere. The regulated site strategy must be right. This is why the bricks and mortar Tribe policy doesnt like it for Casinos as well

Good posts everyone over the weekend. I did not see it mentioned but it will be interesting to see if non regulated sites will continue to grow unchecked without authorities action. Regarding Bwin if the sp drifts lower than this it will become a t/o target possibly by a company with US interest. Last week the bookies LAD WMH RNK all came under pressure with Government threats re the fixed odds terminals and loss of profits here may force industry consolidation. Bwin strategy of divergence from Poker into wider regulated gaming operations could be the right solution .

Crooks , as I understand it , there is no difference in our deal with MGM / Boyd as to whichever site , revenue is lumped and we have about 65% interest , so the Casino revenue is all important - I dont know what our deal is with Amaya for their part (of the software) . I would like to know what MGM Boyd have as strategy aspirations for New York and California and whether we can get in there on a scale similar to NJ without Pokerstars getting in.

Crooks, Malta pointed out last years Jan graph which spiked to 150 in Feb. Hope it does the same. I would like to discuss the US revenue prediction with you over the weekend and what the projected Bpty turnover for NJ would be based on those figures.

Blimey , youre brave to sell that much - I thought you were in for a longer term to see the US expansion - the problem with the sell is some info will be coming out on tax revenue in US and it could give us some inkling on how Casino is doing in NJ. I'll sell some at 130 but not at 112

WN - Agree . The Poker traffic figures for BPTY are not going the wrong way. I cant get a full copy of the "poor hand" article. They must be ignoring US growth - how can the re-entry be deemed a failure - I cant see this. I dont understand the DGE NJ forecasts on (tax) revenue. If it is 10m dollars per month then surely BPTY will be doing quite well. Will find out next week. In the mean time BPTY is working on Philly. Does the market think MGM and Boyd are going to sit on their backsides and do nothing. I can foresee positive momentum.

I cant open the FT article "poor hand for bpty" from FT earlier in the week after the Morgan Stanly undwt rating. I 'd like to see their interpretation of losing market share. Surely this should be about bottom line return and prospects. Since q3 report , poker traffic has increased steadily - now 2300 avg and 700 avg for france - peak 1700 ish and steady increase in NJ up to about 700 peak , add to this casino and other verticals plus great prospects other US states. 888 has fallen very similar to ours. I am not selling at todays price - too much upside to come and little downside

Crooks, Yes it cannot be ruled out . LAD are in similar predicament. In the US MGM resorts are up to something and flexing muscle. Certainly dont think sp will go much lower . The timing of the two broker comments is odd and one wonders whether there is collusion going on. The buys continue to exceed sells so one day we may find out who the buyer will be
