Cant believe with all the in trouble companies with cash they are shorting this. It has to do with post buy back mentality and time to next corporate news not immediate exactly and the temporary building called the pound shop. Very interesting to see the Hurricane Energy shorters closing positions today. I know there is no connection but would be no surprise to see this recent shorter closing pretty quickly. Hi. Appreciate your posts. All supporters in same boat and I think you are right. Shorter selling on peaks and betting its going £1 or slightly minus. I think its short term in that they wont be short when theres a Q4 update or getting near the ex div. So thet have possibly 2 or 3 weeks left in the short game. They may be heavily betting theres no APF Brazil deal news so soon after the US election result

I wonder what sp will trigger their stop loss to get rid of them. The sells after hours trades were huge and inconsistent with the general appetite. I hope they have no inside information or they have heard we are not going to do anything until at least 2021.

There were no wildcats out there. I did see a scorpion and there were plenty of stings in the tail. All the money spent looking at 2D seismics was totally wasted. There was no definitive sweet spot to drill and it was the wrong technique. In hindsight they should have increased T5,6,7 triplefold by horizontal drills. They agreed with me when I suggested it at the time. We could have had 1.5tcf but no they wanted to try for 31tcf with only the money for 3 drills tops

The trouble with all this was that our CEO was supposed to be a CEO but all that it turned out to be was a sham to purport to be an IMPRESSIARIO and we were his audience. He had no time for the details and the warnings. Another red flag was when Steven Whyte left (who got on with Marco). He could have done the impressiaro bit and was a good bloke but there was only 1 top person on the agenda at the time.

Hi readman. The seismic never gave a clue on how the rock porosity ever was . It was always tight from the outset. BM was looking for promising structures which never got anywhere near the potential of the Tendrara Horst. In hindsight it was like panning for gold WITHOUT information. Ludicrous. It was all this Algerian comparison nonsense that misled us. An earlier post mentioned Cams opinions - true - but this was based on Dennis (Sharpe??) expert experience which unfortunately was a seed that fell on stoney ground ( JP personality clash ) there was only going to be 1 top dog but this one should have been neutered after the Badile failure and the disagreement in strategy with our top native geologist Luca.

Thanks Lyndon for your comment. IMO Brian was a good guy and he must feel tremendously disappointed. I was always perplexed why JP never sat next to him on the plane after he was appointed. He chatted freely to me and Appi and knew his stuff . JP was not interested in the finer points of geology. Luca thought the Argan V. exploration was crazy (in dense fluvial rocks saturated with water not far below) and must have told JP a few too many home truths that he did not want to hear and I bet the nationals were just a bit miffed when he was moved out

Posters on this board should not post unkind unwarranted remarks about other humble shareholders like ourselves. So we were taken for a ride on the back of a huge license area and unfulfilled ambition. Some of it (the drills) was unlucky. If we had achieved one more result it would have been so different. If anything was to be blamed it was the Morocco set up. The hike up the Argan valley was ridiculous. What was the point? We were certainly stuck up a tree there with our trousers round our ankles. That was when to get out. The whole seismic thing was the nasty part with the river trip presentation fiasco. I felt dubious and it was mainly the fact that Schlum appeared committed that kept me personally in a type of greedy hope which I couldnt shake off. BM never said this was going to be great and never got involved in buying shares until they were rock bottom. But the exit of our two top finance people and main men with their fantastic remuneration and leaving the company with a massive tax problem was the last straw for me for those two at the helm of failing to provide the LE that was hyped up all along called Strategy.. What on earth was going on in our Rabat office and discussions with the Moroccan authorities ? I think it is scandalous. I haven't been on this board for some time and I hope Graham is making some headway. Rant over. Also great to see your post today I wish you well Kirk and look after yourself in lockdown. They are trying to get shareholders to sell so they can pick up orders below the 105 level and nearer the pound the better for them because you can hold at a low level and pick up getting nearer the divi which is first week in Jan. Not that long left to hold for the ex div. date. They come quick. Cant see much change for the 2021 divi announcements because of the buyback. Keep the faith
