Yuyus, agree. We have the potential for a real paradigm shift if world and business leaders take up the gauntlet and we might just steer in a more sustainable direction for the sake of all our futures.
I hope NFX come good long term, the whole DT fiasco has not been communicated well and has left me with concerns, however the involvement of respected experts in their fields somewhat mitigates. We'll see soon enough. Continue to hold for the moment though have cut back and put surplus funds in AVTC, ODX and GDR.
Read your reply Pennyfalls:} Find Advfn a bit tricky to use but have same user name on there, I think? It's been a while. I think ODX, AVCT and GDR are all standout stocks with or without Covid to be honest, GDR may be a little riskier but still interesting to see what they achieve. One day we'll be saying the same here no doubt!
I'll be fine, thanks Sonnets, no harm in diversifying and enough left here to profit significantly! Have seen people burned by sentiment and subjectivity, not going to be one of them.
Halespur Logically, we're due news and a rise and rumour seems to be pointing that way. However, frankly, there are plenty of stocks lined up for transformational profit re. covid right here and now and I'm not in a position to wait so have been reducing my position here with the intention of making profits there and reinvesting here ... or in GSK.
Pennyfalls if you're reading this, I had the same thought ... can't be entirely sure, but there we are. Had a giggle. Have repositioned in NFX towards ODX and AVTC (G) depending on which site you use. Also some in GDR. Clearly NFX has potential but then so did my school reports!

Robone, Had we not been hit the Covid curve ball and others along the way, things would no doubt be very different right now. But there we are, c'est la vie. There's still huge value and potential here for those who can afford to remain invested and wait.

Of some comfort, perhaps, in these troubling times is the fact that your CEO doesn't simlutaneously smoke weed and use Twitter - aka Elon Musk! Be grateful for small things x
aj242, Have to agree with you, that's my feeling. Recall this being ramped up to the high 9s not so long ago, followed by DT selling. Good to see blue though, all the same, just not getting excited - yet!
Money is moving from oil to pharma at the moment and specifically to those geared up to provide tests such as Avacta (AVTG), Omega (ODX) and NYCT. AZN and GSK have been steadily and consistently rising on a daily basis.
Soup, the Twitter pump and dump crowd are particularly transparent here. That said, it might not entirely all be pump. We'll hear more on actual news hopefully in the next few months!
Genghis and Makinhay Brent is exactly the issue and why I've stepped out. I posted earlier that this could go down to $20 - at the time even I didn't think -$20 was possible. There will, inevitably, be a correction in due course, but in between a whole world of pain which is not relevant if you are in a position to hold long term.
Hi Jiffy I'm still watching Hurricane but took the hit and sold to move to more defensive stocks in pharma. I'm self-employed and have taken a massive hit, like the rest of the country. I still believe in Hurricane and have it on my watch list but can now happily ignore those who don't understand 'perched water' or fractured basement. Am focusing on voluntary work and sanity inducing activities with the hope of emerging from the next 18 months in one piece and maybe better for it ...
Boracic, What do you think PPE is made of? I.e. the protective gear made using petrochemicals that is saving the lives of millions worldwide right now?
Still holding here and checking in every now and then. Just a matter of time so prepared to wait as long as it takes. The fact the price is holding steady on no news is encouraging. Await the next update with baited breath!
Thanks for the link MrCarrick. Positive update overall. No delays caused re. Covid-19 yet given the plan was always to start drilling in mid to late April at end of rainy season. Queensland closed its boundaries last week re. Covid but all plant equipment is on site and ready to go. Interesting discussion about where the overall market is headed and the position of gold in 6 months' time.
