Auson, yep, apologies. He bought another 1% (14m) shares. He will probs continue to do so too... If he can get them that is. Remember shorts just play games selling then buying back small volumes, he won't be able to buy much in bulk that way.

Cannot see him not stopping at 11%, and wouldn't be surprised to see him go to 29% soon. He see's value.

Trendz, there's value here at current, however there's going to be some shenadigans played by shorters first. For me its a 70p to 80p share on a hold basis, anything under 45p and held is a good bet imo.

Currently heading more towards reward basis with help from shorts. 45p and lower is a good bet on a hold strategy. T/O possibilities , assets & possible asset disposals, current prod all underpin the current SP for me. However any further decline in sp makes this a very strong recovery play bet.

IMO , will be took over before then. MC now does not factor in the Kenya assets. Any bidder will at current levels are quids in.

Some value in that , probs £1b !! and that's just offloading 25%

Starting to look an appealing buy, may go lower to mid 30's which would be a great trade level. Can see a take over if so as assets still good for 70p / 80p.

Intu has been a target for short sellers — who hold more than a fifth of its free-floating stock according to data from IHS Markit — with prominent hedge funds such as Odey Asset Management betting against its shares.

Some specific property-backed bonds are also widely shorted, while other distressed debt specialists have bought its £375m convertible bonds believing that concerns around its borrowings are overdone.

“This is not their biggest problem and it is a totally expected breach,” said one hedge fund manager who owns this convertible bond. “But it is certainly not great a headline for them”.

Intu declined to comment.

Probs 35p to 40p PS, MC of £500m after write downs on assets minus debt. Still value there at these sp levels.

Disagree, spending £30 to £40M on all you mention in order to save at least £100m and protect 85000 Pi's and the company from admin sounds a tad more sensible.. I am very surprised the BOD are killing the company like this...and being left to do it!
