All spend should of been halted and if needed they should have supported the SP buying at this low price, they could have then waited out for better funding deal. £100M would have bought back 50% of shares... They would still of had £70m cash after.. Madness.
..they should have halted ALL spend until a review was completed!. Otherwise it's a goner, poor decision made there by the BOD. Still ,as it's gets cheaper it becomes more appealing to day traders.
panamabob, if and when the bond does arrive copl could easily 5 bag,, then more., look at the oil in situ. Bond and operation's news required though. GLA holders

29.3.19 Q1 Update The Company's Nigerian Affiliate has accepted a term sheet from a recognized Nigerian Bank for the provision of a US$7 million Performance Bond which will meet the principal condition of the 24-month extension of Phase 1 of the OPL 226 PSC which runs until October 2020. Security for the Performance Bond will be provided by COPL's affiliate ShoreCan. The Company expects the Performance Bond to be in place to the satisfaction of the regulatory authorities in the coming weeks, at which point activities on OPL 226 can be commenced in earnest.
