yep i think we get you don't like san leon and you don't like me because at present levels i believe it offers significant upside potential and because i argue that corner. what i don't get is why you don't sell (like b7 announced he did 4 years ago) and why you're still here?

PC01 'pessimists' are quite healthy in a discussion. what we have had here has been much worse than that with a concerted troll campaign against San Leon over time, which is why i and a few others here give no quarter on their unsubstantiated bile, much of it from posters who hold no current interest. agree delayed news on q payment will no doubt be grist for the mill of those who have an agenda here. whilst I am keen to hear that news, I do know it would be unthinkable for Jite to miss the payment, unless perhaps merger discussions are in fact ongoing. (if Jite did miss any payment for any reason, our security all but in OML18 equity, as I understand it, is fine with me). and imagine we will get share buyback clearance in short order now.

both installation of the LACT units for OML 18 to get accurate readings at the transfer point of our oil and the hugely important alternative crude evacuation and storage facilities are both designed to deal with the 'fly in the ointment'. we await news on both.

PC01 the far greater value proposition for Tosca, Capital, Midwestern and all shareholders lies through the rto route much discussed and reasoned already on this board. the positives from achieving a merged vehicle with Jite Okoloko are so mutually cogent that i believe this will still happen. without repeating all that reasoning again now, the really important bit is that it would immediately allow OML18 to be fully exploited to achieve the kind of levels set out in the admission docs in excess of 100,000 bpd. and possibly even more with new exploration in the field and an enhanced resources update. if the pipeline project were included in such a merger as well, as would be logical, then we would be looking at a second very substantial business model being added to the equation (i suspect this prospect is presently underrated by shareholders, understandably as we don't yet have enough detail nor is there certainty of its inclusion). so i don't see any of our institutional or corporate shareholders going anywhere just yet.
