Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
1863….. ooh! Gosh! It’s Sunday….. looking forward to next week 😎
£3 million pound sale logged at 16:35 on Friday, no doubt that's a delayed report and the reason for the SP drop last week.
onwards and upwards...
Thanks Savvy,
I'm sort of sitting on my hands with regards purchasing any more CERES, but it is tempting. My personal investment strategy allows a defined chunk/percentage of my portfolio to be speculative (define speculative, I know!) and at the moment I'm "all in" for CERES on this strategy.
It's good to know that you and others on here have the same sort of opinion on where this share is heading. I'm surprised like you that there hasn't been more of a lift recently and I'm aware that I have talked this up as well.
No more predictions it will happen when it happens .... and it will definitely happen
I don't pretend to understand how prices are set, but I find it a bit strange how the SP has dropped today even though the buying volume is exceeding the selling volume. I noticed a very chunky buy this morning £250k and there have been a few more £30k - £50k buys, in all there has been over £400k traded so far today.
Also it's very quiet on here the last few days :-)
If anyone has a plausible explanation, it would be good to know.
Thanks in advance and GLA
Tennents
Thanks for the warm and friendly post.
Have a nice day
Alan
I have just over 10,000 Ceres shares, at an average cost of just over 400p, so looking at a paper loss of about £7500.
I don't believe in witchcraft :-) just waiting for the JV announcement, then it's time to sell hopefully over 400p, I'm not in this for the long term.
The AGM on Thursday may pep things up a bit, but we really need that JV .
Feels like a good old fashioned tree shake today :-0
Don't weaken, just hang in there
That makes sense, not to say you don’t normally make sense :-)
I realise that Ceres isn’t a “hydrogen” company per se, but it does tend to be bunched together with the hydrogen growth share sector.
Good to see some optimism on here after the doom and gloom.
Plug is down a fair chunk so far today at minus 9.5% Bloom isn't doing that great either at minus 2.5%, but Ceres seems to be holding steady, so hopefully the rise is nothing to do with the American market.
Here's hoping for a run to 400p before news
GLA
Is anybody tempted to sell and buy back on Tuesday?
500 + trades in one day is unusual, fingers crossed there will be news very soon. My wife is looking at new kitchens, so I need a bit of profit :-)
My purchase of 3000 shares a couple of weeks ago at £3.34 was looking a bit sick this morning, but 20p + rise has cheered that up.
All the best to all.
Just logged in and had a heart flutter when I saw there was a new RNS . I think they are teasing us :-)
A report of total voting rights, my nerves are shattered now!
Having got it totally wrong I'm predicting that I will get it wrong again.
Wednesday 3rd May, which will give you all a chance to top up on Tuesday when the rumours start :-)
It's nice to see a bit more volume going through and encouraging that the SP is holding steady.

I bought at £3.34 last week, I will top up some more if it gets closer than that to £3.00. I think it's unlikely, but this share does have a habit of big one day rises and falls often for no good reason.
Just for fun I'm predicting an RNS for Tuesday morning 18th April officially announcing the JV.
Any takers or alternative predictions :-)
GLA
I bought 3000 shares this morning at 334p that makes my total holding just under 10,000 shares at an average of 420p.
I'm confident it was the right thing to do. I intend to take a profit when the SP goes north of 500p.
China is too big to stop trading with, any negativity due to current political issues will be short term.
Interesting…. Brent at a monthly high, yet the SP is hovering near the red.
Speculators vs OPEC ?
I considered selling or at least top slicing when it went over £26, but thinking I will wait for £30 which is a good possibility some time soon.
Duggs,
The SP is just pausing for breath in my opinion. I think it unlikely to drop significantly this week or next, but I wish you well and hope you don’t miss out.

That’s not how I read it.
Phil exercised share options at an exercise price of £3.63 per share, they were not issued as a bonus.
Explanation of share options https://www.nibusinessinfo.co.uk/content/defining-share-option-and-share-award-schemes
Share-option schemes are typically used as an incentive for employees.
A share option is the right to buy a certain number of shares at a fixed price, some period of time in the future, within a company.
Employees can generally exercise their share options - ie buy the shares - after a specified period, known as the vesting period. You can make the granting and exercising of share options dependent on reaching certain targets, such as specific sales targets.
When an employee exercises their share options, it's at the price fixed at the date of grant, ie when the options were given to the employee, regardless of the prevailing market price. They can then keep the shares or, if the market price is higher, sell them at a profit.
Looks like management agree with us Jeff!
RNS just now
The Company was notified on 30 March 2023 that Phil Caldwell, Chief Executive Officer and a PDMR of the Company, exercised share options under the Ceres Power Holdings plc Long Term Incentive Plan and retained the shares.
A mere 200,000 shares.........
