Excited over Balcombe RNS2 Oct 2018 15:03
I've been on this board since February 2017 and I've always given honest answers whether it was praising or criticising Angus.
I liked the early days video presentations to show investors the geology they would be drilling through and what the Kimmeridge looks like. Drilling wells on target and on budget was also a plus point.
I didn't like the way they handled Lidsey and how the 2 RNS days apart were constructed, as well as the subsequent placings that devalued Angus. The acquisition of Balcombe certainly didn't make me happy with a further placing.
But we had to live with it and wait for the action to start.
And then todays Balcombe RNS. As somebody who doesn't have a Twitter page used to promote whichever share he has just invested in by taking countless photos.....I can only use my long experience in the oil industry working in the highest senior positions to say I am actually very excited. I didn't expect to see flow rates of over 3,000bopd. Yes you compare HH vertical flow test for a 88ft section back in 2016....but its all hypothetical.
Today Angus proved the Kimmeridge flows...the Wealds first horizontal flow test in the Kimmeridge from a well which was suspended for 5 years. This is transformational for Angus. The slugging can be fixed using a larger gas separator and bigger diameter pipes. The water is another easy fix as it can be isolated with packers which then does not impact upon producing from the rest of the reservoir (above and below).
The future for the Weald is multi-lateral wells where you have 4-5 wells branching off every mother bore (the well you see at surface with a wellhead). Instead of 6 wells you can have 30 wells.....thats a lot of oil which translates into a very healthy SP.
Now we move on to Brockham.....production licence + Kimmeridge = Printing money!!!!!
I wish all genuine investors in Angus all the best and please question why certain folk always seem to ask negative questions. Its almost like they don't want Angus to succeed? lol
