Hi Notalot, just a heads up here. My father had Hodgkins Disease, (lymphoma) back in the early 60's, back then it was a killer. At that time there wasn't really a cure and they had only just started treatments. Fortunately my father was one of the first enrolled (25) on a new treatment which was yet untested, so in effect a guinea pig. No hope was given at the time with just a 10/20% chance of success. The outcome was a success which amazed my father and the hospital concerned so much so that the treatment quickly became standard and so things started to improve, the downside was my father had a big scar on his back which I presume was down to chemo but he was alive and cured. What I am saying here is that lymphoma now is one of the curable cancers with a high chance of success so I fully expect you after your treatment to have the same outcome and live a much longer and fruitful life. Take care and think positive. I have had bladder cancer since 1998 and I am still here rattling around so believe me when I say live life to the fullest, cheers, alamo!

I was quite happy I sold yesterday @327 which will enable me to buy back if the sp justifies it when it drops, which it will do, whether that will be next week or not I don't know. I erred on the side of caution because the debt is still a big problem, if they can reduce that more and people book more then it would be worth a reinvestment but as yet it's all in the melting pot, cheers, alamo.

I don't doubt your opinion aspers, I still believe though that it will be tough going in the UK for another year. Depending on how the sp performs by year end I will reinvest at some point. GL, alamo.

You hit the nail on the head there by saying a couple of years. With everything that is happening in the UK, where a lot of Tui bookings come from the family holiday abroad will be be extremely difficult next year. People will realise that they have less money to spend so staycations might be the order of the day because of other heavy bills.
On the plus side I don't see the sp dropping much, just sidelining. I warned everybody months in advance about Thomas Cook before they went bust but hardly any took notice until 2 days before it happened, this won't happen here but it will be a struggle until late 2022. .....the sp should drop to around £2.85 if full rights are taken, any more than that then it's a bonus. On that basis I have sold as although they won't go bust it's going to be a tough struggle in the short term. I wait to see how winter goes and whether they get a lot more bookings for next year. The difference between PCR and LFT is about £13 roughly, if PCR was removed then it's still not low enough because I'm sure companies would probably raise their prices. I'm going to France on 23rd Oct so it would be a bit beneficial if they announced this or next week.

@277 it hasn't risen beyond the £3 sticking point so looks like another 5% drop tomorrow as Friday is normally a status quo or drop day for most shares
