Yep. I wonder if this fuel agreement may also have all the financial implications bundled in. Or possibly there will be the fuel agreement RNS and then another RNS very shortly after with an investment bank stating details of a financing deal. The investment bank may have said they are in but only on the signing of the fuel deal with the oil major and msc.
Lots of jostling around with buys and sells today as someone predicted yesterday and they also predicted a strong rise into the finish. I agree this may be the case as the chances of a Monday morning RNS are pretty high looking at all the clues. Even when watching the AGM I thought the reaction of Andy when asked about the need for more funding in January was rather strange. Almost as if they hadn't even considered they need to worry about it anymore. He made some comment saying obviously if the Valkor money doesn't come in and if other plans failed then they would inevitably need to consider options but he seemed so relaxed about it and almost as if it was a done deal.
If people do sell now I assume they are expecting another better entry point. Problem is it could open 100% or more higher any day on the fuel agreement/funding news. I would assume most people are comfortable holding at the moment and the select few are choosing to take a small profit.
Maybe they will sign the deal in the morning and then later that day during the MSC talks Jason will be called onto stage to do a cameo appearance and present a few quadrise fuel technology slides. That would be rather nice!!
It's mad isn't it. Only 2 years ago we hit 5.5p and were nowhere near this position we are in now. Few years before that 8p. I know we have had a couple of small dilutions over this time but still crazy when you think about where they are now with their proven fuels and the partners that QED have aligned with!!
I feel like before these results and before this AGM we were looking at maybe getting quadrise fuel on a few MSC ships and then possibly a slow roll out over years. It now feels quite different. With the phases coming from MSC, vertoro and Jason it now almost feels as if there are plans to roll this out in super quick time to potentially supply a vast percentage of the marine fleet and not just MSC. Surprised this hasn't gone bonkers today. Then again it's just another part of the puzzle. The final bit really is the MSC and fuel supplier agreement. Especially if it mentions plans to roll it out globally after a successful trial.
Fair point. It's a balance I guess. I for one would not be continuously posting negatively about a company I have invested otherwise why would I be invested in them any more. Having said that raising concerns and sharing these concerns should be just as important as the positive discussions. I just hope we can all have more to talk about now from a positive perspective. I rekon we have just all been done in by Quadrise fatigue and none of us ever thought it would take this long to get these trials sorted. Fair play to all of us LTH that have been here since near the start and managed to actually stay sane!!
Yep quite a personal post. I have never had them say anything negative to me but then I never said anything bad to them or about them. I wouldnt ever want to engage in an argument on a forum. Personally I do like everyones posts that relate to quadrise and find them informative but if I disagree with them I don't feel I need to argue with the poster. I think you are correct when you said the best thing when you disagree is to just not engage. I am just hoping for a positive RNS for all of us tomorrow to continue this good momentum that we are all enjoying for a change.
Blimey can't believe there is still so much bickering on here when everything is seemingly coming together. Surely we can just enjoy the positivity for a change and hopefully all enjoy the progress that the company is making. I agree with the poster who said about Tuesday RNSs. It does seem that way alot. Maybe we get the aquafuel results tomorrow to let the whole of COP 28 see how good the vertoro fuel is and then the Fuel supplier soon after :)
Definitely. But knowing what news is around the corner I would almost be disappointed not to see it ramp up again. We are still priced to fail at present and the next couple of RNS could maybe confirm some financial security.
