Thanks DB
Had not watched that one for a while, how far we have come as a company eh, when you consider that was 9 years ago, would be great to get an interview from Yvon today to do a comparison on where we have come, the last 15 minutes or so was very interesting on the Patents and how extensive, granular and in-depth they are.
Hopefully all is good with Thordon and that he has just been very busy with work.
Not too long till we get the finals and can put some questions to John after the presentation. (2/3 weeks?)

Hi DB
Not sure where the question emanated from, but maybe genuine, I get it that there may still be some scepticism on the Unilever front, as regards ITX ingredients, but this for me is 100% genuine. Below is another site I scan from time to time.
Page 2
https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/browse/ingredients/862608-SODIUM_POLYITACONATE/
Updated Jan 2024, which suggests that this is a very new product.
ITX will I guess only know that they have received an order from Unilever, but may not know what the application is, unless they have been involved in the formulation?
Would be nice if we could have an IR person as the next addition to the staffing, as a point of contact to clear up some of the more trivial questions, leaving John free to tackle the bigger questions at the presentations?

Hi Leoboy
First of all what is the posters concern?
I am by no means an expert in this area, but where our IP lies is in the Ingredients we produce and the methodology under which these are prepared, many of the majors have tried and failed over the years, going back to the 1960's to produce the Green polymers that we have perfected on a commercial basis. We are not the only company who uses Itaconic Acid as can be garnered from the amount of raw materials are imported into the USA in a year. None of these would dare to try and impinge on our IP. There is nothing there that would concern me, if you look hard enough you will find many may patent applications, I think we are well covered there.
I tend to use Justina as a reference website.
https://patents.justia.com/search?q=Stuart+CAMPBELL-LEE+Thomas+Richard+POINTON
These guys have many entries, but as far as I can see there is no reference to polymers, some reference to acrylic's etc, so therefore would not be classed as a green application or anything to come close to what we are producing
https://itaconix.com/products/
As a reference I would have a look at the IP produced by ITX below and you will see where I am coming from.
https://patents.justia.com/inventor/yvon-durant
If this is not what you are after then please let me know and I will try and assist.
If there are any experts in this field then please feel free to jump in

Still 3 positions to fill at ITX, but looks like they may have dropped Indeed and are now using Bamboo?

It is nice to be able to look at ITX SP in a positive light
The inroads into Unilever products will be massive to ITX and really put us in the shop window.
With all the IP, R&D well down the road, and we have not even considered the additional potential of Paint, Leather and superabsorbents, what price does a very large specialty company put on adding this to its portfolio?
£20 a share as a starting price (£260 million is not a lot when you think about it?), for what you are getting?
Let's see what other nuggets we can find from similar big players.
Is this why John has just recently mentioned about a production facility in Europe, would that be part of the requirement from the likes of Unilever?
Not long till the finals, Q&A will be interesting

Corrected errors, fingers going quicker than the brain lol

Major brand in the UK and Europe, if not world wide.
This is a styling gel and by the looks of it this is a very recent release, so guess it is a new formulation, the typical ingredient that is being replaced is usually an acrylate, I would have though, sure there will be a chemist amongst us who could confirm?
It may be that if Unilever find that is such a huge success( reviews very positive) that they go back and re-formulate some of their other hair products, but would definitely put money on the fact that many of the new products that they release in the future will have ITX chemistry in them, they are not going to only have one product with Sodium Polyitaconate as an ingredient?
If someone could confirm this it would be excellent, but I am sure that Unilever are committed to improving the sustainability of all of their product ranges, which covers quite a few brands.
We need to keep up the research going forward, not only on Unilever products, but also the other majors, as I am sure that they will not want to be left behind?
It also raises many other intriguing questions, luckily we have the finals just around the corner.

Hi Elsol
https://www.tresemme.com/us/en/products/hair-gel/ultra-hold-sculpting-gel/
That is for sure Sodium Polyitaconate is one of the ingredients being used by Unilever in this product, which to my mind means the there could be a pipeline of products due to come out which will also contain this.
Has Unilever stolen a march on everyone else?
Where Unilever go are other large brands destined to follow as will not want to be left behind.
Very interesting times ahead.

Hi W
From the latest RNS.
"Further details of FY23 trading and the outlook for 2024 will be provided when the Company announces FY23 results planned for early April 2024."
So for me we should see this either during the week beginning 1st April or the week beginning 8th April.
so 3/4 weeks away, not long.

Hi Chilting
Have been watching this and there has been a very disappointing response from our US cousins, thought that this was the main reason for the consolidation?
Imagine where the SP will go if we see a positive uptick from the US Investors.
Broker not doing its job? or just takes time get the word out there?
Excellent progress being made, just need to get that information out to the wider audience.

Hi Ricky
Maybe orders trying to be filled?
Trying to add a few more at the moment, but NT on HSD platform, so shares must be tight.
As you say way undervalued.
As we move upwards, at what point do you think they will consider, splitting the share?
£10 sounds good to me split by 4 take it back down to £2.5 and multiply our holdings by 4 times (wishful thinking, but you never know)
