Where NCYT is concerned the time to sell is most definitely NOT down at these levels. News will be forthcoming soon I am sure. It keeps trying to break out and soon it will. Just a little more patience required in my view. GLA
Yes sonicboomboy, either a full dose of Pfizer or a half dose of Morderna. The exception is if you have suffered a major reaction to the Pfizer previously you can get a third dose of the Astra Zeneca.
Maybe no plans as of today BUT tomorrow is another day with a new boss and a new outlook and probably new direction. Watch this space.........
Worrying that there is no demand for shares as we head into the AGM/EGM. I really thought there might have been an rns of some description today. Seems like GM isn't even going to say bye bye to us! Oh well here's to Monday. Let's hope it's a good one. A nice 3-400% rise would be great - yeah I know, in my dreams lol. Me and Dylan up in Suffolk wish you all a great weekend
@InvestorSteve, when you have painfully watched the sp fall from £11 to just over £2.50 I think it is valid to expect the company to inform and communicate with their shareholders. Novacyt group seem not to want to do that either through official channels (they rarely even answer via Investor Relations) or informal via social networks. Poor show
I am waiting on 'urgent' surgery right now troublesome and bloody covid is to blame for me not getting the op. I was prepped and ready to go the other week but as I was not going to die imminently they changed their mind! I suspect many thousands have and will die as a result of either not wanting to bother their doctor or from delays to getting treatment. If the NHS is overwhelmed with covid and flue cases this winter - God help us all!
It's an important document and what Dr Cooke writes is 100% correct. I have forwarded the document to Mr Shapps. Perhaps we ALL should? The Government needs to be aware of the potential disaster they are unleashing, we need more than ever this winter to protect the NHS. GLA
Pointless selling down here really, certainly for those of us that averaged UP last year! The fundamentals are still good, still sound and we have a brand new CEO about to take the reins and I suspect spin a whole different light on Novacyt and raise the company profile. It is as it is, the only thing that makes me angry is the fact GM will waltz away with £millions while I and many other who supported the business sit on massive losses, that is neither right or fair BUT absolutely nothing at all I/we can do about it. Even the way todays rns was worded in my view was intended to reduce the sp further, there really is no need for it. I feel by Christmas things will be looking far more rosy for us as the NHS comes under pressure (and for one who has been very poorly in hospital this week I know they ARE under huge pressure right now) and the US business takes off as I think it will. If you don't need to sell, just hold a while longer and see what happens next. Good luck to everyone, I know it's painful.
Lol you might be better than the lot here WBAFC, I have a gallbladder issues but other tummy pains as well currently being investigated. I need something good for a belly ache! Getting this up to Ninety Eleven Hundred Pounds a share for my boy would help. You guys all take care.
WBAFC - I think you will find the majority of us here are in the same boat. My boy Dylan was investing to get a treehouse, now we can't even afford the trowel to plant the tree! The thing is we make our choices and we lives with the consequences. We could all be £millionaires IF we did this or that and hindsight is a wonderful thing. Best thing for now is to sit back and switch off for a while and see where we go through the winter. If things are still as desperate with the sp come the end of the year then maybe the company isn't going anywhere and is flawed or rotten. I don't believe that for one minute. Us Suffolk lads still think the future could well be Novacyt. Sometimes there are greater things in life to be concerned about than money. I'm laying here right now on a hospital bed thinking exactly that! GLA
The contempt with which the company has treated its share holders is staggering. It almost appears the want to **** us off. That's a big cash burn but I guess at least we finally know how things stand and can move forward. No point in me withdrawing as Soder intends. I will hold fast and hope the DHSC dispute is settled soon. The fact it is dragging on is shocking
PCR tests for travellers to be scrapped? https://uk.yahoo.com/news/sajid-javid-indicates-pcr-tests-135456356.html
I feel for you Earth7000, a young man just starting out, you've worked hard on your studies and invested in a company that should by rights have made you a very good return. In truth if you were my son I'm not sure what I would advise you. I cannot see how this company will provide a good return in the short term. Your current £3000 will not last long - do you leave the £15,000 invested or use it to live? For some reason the company have chosen NOT to keep us investors updated, they seem to treat us with contempt and my patience is wearing very thin. I will stay invested until the end of the year and then make a decision regarding whether to cut my losses and move on or remain in with the hope of recouping my not inconsiderable paper loss. I wish you well and don't envy the choices you will need to make over the coming months.
Thx TrekEmondaSLR, now registered and voted. I appreciate your help
Is anyone else having difficulty registering or is it just me? The link asks for my email or telephone number but then tells me "registration details not found"! They do call us the silly Suffolks, maybe it's true!
Good advice Wilson and MisterETrayder, thank you both and hope you are keeping well? We do not post much on the forum these days but we look in daily and try to stay in touch with what is going on. We have been gradually increasing our modest holding as and when we can. Dylan continues to do better with his investment than me but not by much lol. Our treehouse fund needs a boost because as things stand we can't afford a roof and he is growing so fast he will soon be as tall as the tree!! Hope you are feeling better these days Wilson. Take care good friends and have a great weekend. Back to doing homework for us lads.
My lad Dylan has almost £100 burning a hole in his pocket from jobs done for me and his nan and grandad during the summer holiday. After his first day back at school (isn't Friday a crazy day to go back??) he came bounding in a short while ago and as per usual checked the sp here. As it's down almost 3% isn't it a good day for 'me' to buy some more shares he says. Hmmm is it? Should we spend the £100 this afternoon or wait until Monday to see what happens? Advice?
Brent, the board is hardly 'cluttered' there are ONLY 20 comments today. All information is valid and not everyone listens to the news constantly. I find all views interesting and informative.
Hi Obelix, nice to hear from you. We are doing really well thanks. Dylan and I look in on the board most days to see what is happening and we are really happy with how things are currently progressing. We love Porky's price predictions but so long as we steadily but surely head upwards we're pleased. Dylan is still convinced that we will eventually get to his Ninety Eleven Hundred Pounds a share lol. We hop you and your family are doing good. Take care and best regards to you and everyone here.
Here, here Porky, our Kaeren is brilliant, as indeed are a number of regular posters here. Me and my lad Dylan read the board every day and like to keep tabs on what is happening. Hopefully this is the start of our Novacyt star going nova but only the part where is shines brightly NOT the bit where it fades away! Great day and it feels good to end 20% up for a change. Good luck everyone.
Cheers Wilson they would have been mine anyway! Oh and just seen from Pedro to refresh - worked!! Thanks
