Hi investor110, thanks for posting those very important and informative links, much appreciated. I am not invested here but I am with another Covid testing provider. I have posted these links over there as I feel they apply to us as much as to AVCT. I have naturally given credit to finding them to yourself. Great work. Good luck here. I am sure AVCT will do incredibly well, there is sufficient room in this marketplace for ALL quality British suppliers. Just hope the Government finally dump the Chinese cr@P!
investor110 from the AVCT board has posted a couple of really good links today which I feel are as important for us as they are for AVCT regarding Coronavirus test device approvals regulation. Makes for interesting reading! I hope OUR devices have the sensitivity and specificity to comply with the new requirement.

That is why a sales team is employed, to spread the word! Management could be passing on information st a Health Secretary level across the world. Hopefully that IS being done as we speak.

Yes Kaeren, Paul (our guy) is bottom left of screen. Very interesting discussion.
Aspergillus testing seems to be the future and Novacyt seems to be at the forefront of those molecular tests!
Yes Gazman, good to see a NCYT representative in attendance - Mina Brett-Pitt International Sales Manager- APAC
Novacyt. We only got the very briefest of mentions at the very end of the last webcast, maybe we will get more of a shout out this time. Fingers crossed

Wilson, firstly how are you keeping my friend? Hope all is well. When you attempted to sign in for the seminar did you try to register again from scratch OR did you try logging in? I made the mistake of trying to re-register and of course it told me the email was already in use. The login tab at the top is not so easy to see but that took me straight in. Hope that helps. Take care and best regards Damien
When restrictions are lifted, the virus won't have gone away, and it doesn’t mean that measures are not needed to prevent a resurgence. What it does mean is that the government is planning to withdraw all forms of support and abandon us to deal with the pandemic on our own. Thank Goodness for testing and thank Goodness for Novacyt!
Hi Ad, I think the reference is regarding Collinson Group who have won a large Government contract but I am not convinced they use our tests and assays. Does anyone know for sure?
Really excited for you Bluelight and just a tiny bit jealous! Totally agree that no one will record a positive result and risk missing the game regardless of who is in the final. The numbers of covid cases will go through the roof but they are gonna do that anyway after 19th July. That will be good for us. My lad Dylan wonders if you'd swap a ticket for his slightly motheaten superhero slippers and a Paw Patrol dvd? Seems a no brainer to me lol. Enjoy the game and let's hope it's us in the final!!
Is our partnership with Invitro not rns worthy? Seems very encouraging to me.
Morning Porky and everyone. This is the Times article mentioned: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/novacyt-executives-get-bumper-payout-after-covid-testing-contracts-fzjbggln2
Bosses at Novacyt have shared a bumper £11 million payout after shares in the former penny stock soared on the back of Covid-19 testing contracts.
Graham Mullis, head of the diagnostics company, will be paid £8.2 million and Anthony Dyer, the former chief financial officer, £2.9 million after a three-year share incentive scheme vested.
The scheme was introduced around the time of its 59p listing on Aim, the junior stock market. The shares leapt from 13p early last year to £11.94 in October.
Mullis, 58, was granted 1.1 million shares in 2017 and Dyer, 48, who became chief corporate development officer this year, was granted 376,643.
The total paid out under the scheme to eight individuals was £19 million. The identity of the other six employees has not been disclosed and the award was “principally” shared by Mullis and Dyer and includes social security costs.
Novacyt’s prospects were transformed last year by the early launch of coronavirus tests. The department of health is its biggest customer. It generated profits of £132.4 million, compared with a loss of £3.4 million in 2019.
Under the scheme, cash was based on the growth of the value of the shares granted over the period. The awards vested in full in November and will be paid in three tranches. Total shareholder return since the scheme was put in place in 2017 was 1,580 per cent.
The shares were down 2.1 per cent, or 7¼p, yesterday at 339p.
Hopefully this information will have been passed on to the press and media outlets? The world needs to know of our new and highly accurate tests. I suspect the competition will be broadcasting what they can achieve. Time for Novacyt to blow their own trumpet! Do you agree?
Temuchin, from what I know of kids they like spitting! Being allowed and encouraged to actually do so for their lft would prove no problem at all lol!!
I'd give up Covidopportunist we are miles ahead of the lot you follow and support, already have CE mark secured and already selling to over 160 companies across the globe. We once again lead the field with our products and however you try to spin it you cannot deny that to be the truth. It is an excellent rns.
Thumbs up from us in Suffolk. I think Covidopportunist you have your thoughts wrong! Novacyt's test IS for home use. Me and Dylan definitely think our lft's ARE GOLD STANDARD. Nothing not to like. Bring it on! Novacyt has never once failed to deliver. Best company in the world? Me and my naughty boy think so!!
IF Javid does scrap all lockdown rules or at least brings them forward the infection rates will skyrocket. In a sad way that will only be good for us as more infection will require more testing. I fear he will only be looking at Covid from a financial perspective and I'm not sure that bodes well for the future.

OUR time WILL come, bit more patience required, that is all.
