I hope SAV can quickly get the 1.7Mt to over 10Mt, no matter what happens to Lithium prices and battery chemistries, copper is hugely underrated in its role in the EV revolution and renewable energy. More Copper in an EV than an ICE Copper in charging points, grid infrastructure for the charging points Seen the copper inside a wind turbine? Looootttsssss. All new uses/increased uses for copper, but the mines that exist output is dropping, grade is dropping, there is a low number of new mines coming along, with lower grades and lower tonnages than before. Don't under estimate Oman and the copper to be realised there! Lot less exploration expansion potential in copper than Lithium, copper is going to be very lucrative pocket money, the more resource the more it becomes a longer term play for the company and a hedge against possible lithium fluctuations. However despite plentiful Lithium, the need is going to be expanding exponentially and what lithium is out there is going to need time and money to get it to market. If we are already in the market it is easier to get financing for lithium expansion and drilling out new targets than new companies exploring from zero or needing capex. We will have a seat at the Lithium table already, which will be another hedge, being in the market! Heck in 10 years all the lithium miners might be buying up the juniors whom have done the drilling as they have the cash flow.

Two things that could affect equity raise centre aroung Oman, a:by the end of the year selling copper as a producer will have had a value increase in the SP for sure even if Portugal was not adding plenty more value so fund raise will require significantly less shares b:By being a producer, with a mining asset and cash flow loans are somewhat easier to come by and service. As for Portugal and Lithium, well its easier to lend to a hot commodity in short supply than lend to say an iron ore resource, or even gold. Hopefully we would be looking at 100% offtake agreed for minimum 5 years, yet another good reason for lending, you pretty much have a 100% cashflow to service the debt for the first 5 years. Its in a politically stable country, not sure I would fancy trying to get debt finiancing in DRC or somewhere like that were the lender might not believe you will even have the mine in 5 years! There are good comparisons for our mine in terms of business model to derisk the debt. Galaxy, Altura etc. all doing well starting as a 15Mt circ mine. In fact they made investment decisions on 15Mt when the market was nothing to what it is now. So I think there are many positives for being able to get debt finiance, its just how much we can get!

I would like to think also that the funds sloshing around in Europe would find its way to the first important lithium supply in Europe!! And Portugal seen as an area of Europe needing investment and jobs, yet Poland/Eastern European countries seems to be getting the factories for battery production (not counting Northvolt) from outside the bloc. However I bet we still end up with foreign investment because Europe couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery at times and are continuing to fall behind on a daily basis, VW signed up for $48b of batteries not adding to the EU economy.....Its really very poor.

I would agree releasing that nugget into the open, though he has always had that figure in mind without a scoping study to back it up. There should no have been much in the way of stumbling blocks on the scoping study but there could have been changing of direction of the mine plan ideas and grades possible. These have changed materially with the grandao extended, the deep may have been a flop, Res might not have the tonnage as before, but Grandao getting better, Pin throwing up something good. Its still very liquid in how this resource will develop and grow and how best to mine it and which bits first. Scoping may just have to take an overview, but the feasabillity will have had more drilling to make it clear the path of development. What price/value did SOLG get to when it moved?

The recent rise is post 8 ministries, bouyed by Alara's licence, market was hoping for 2 things right about now, for us to follow on from the Alara timescale, it has not happened and end of the month was said on 3 occassions by Archer that the scoping study would be out and this has been and gone. It is not negative to think that this price is now elevated without the news that it ran up for and it would be good to nail the tail on the donkey(price) as a support because we continue to have selling pressure. As these are facts, I don't see that it hurts us to recognise them to justisfy where the share is at. It would be different if people were speculating or making stuff up. I don't think it is helpful to only have sugar coated posts, sometimes I feel HUM, HZM, IRR gets a little too much pushing from shareholders and it starts to look negative when you see it day in day out. For the record I took a small trade on HUM on the dip, but I can't really invest anything in these unless SAV does well. I'd like a pull back on HZM, but I said that about SAV and had no choice but to get in (albeit it hit the low 5s, but you would not have thought that since new year!)

Only thing floating around on Twitter this morning was a screenshot from a newspaper about Sav saying they will be looking at Euro100M (�87.5m) to develop Portugal AANNNNDDDDDD Looking at a 'main listing'! Oh and a Mining Analyst JohnMeyer putting a good word in on Savannah as one to watch.

kopfkissen, looks like we have a grumpy guts that doesn't like hearing they are wrong about something..... A defensive mechanism for some is to go on the attack. I think it is unfair to call iceberg prickly and bad tempered for having an opinion on the RNS', the only person around here pointing fingers, throwing accusations and getting their knickers in a twist is you it would seem. I think the only person posting this last week looking a cheaper price has been itsaduster, rest of us are LTHs. But I bet my bottom dollar there are a few LTHs that do trade in and out with a float but don't say anything.

Would fit in with the series of presentations due at back end of June. 22nd June Benchmark London II 27th June Mining Journal It would make sense to have the scoping study out before these events for maximum impact and falls of course inside Q2 as suggested! I'd like to think Oman will arrive before that and as the official presentation is being delayed perhaps to leave room for SAV's licence to be sorted in time for the official event. You would think they would like to kill a few birds with one stone during an official event. Its not just about Alara's licence and hopefully SAV's it will be making a fuss about the changing mining direction within the country and a fanfare to the years in the making!!!!

I am not talking it down, I'm stating a fact. This exert from a trading platform will help explain why those were sells. - It should be noted that all trade declarations made by the market do not include a buy or sell indicator and therefore we have to derive this information ourselves. The policy we have adopted is based on the mid price of the stock at the time of the declaration. For example, a trade declared at a price that is higher than the mid price at the time of declaration would be put in the buy column, a trade lower than the mid price would be put in the sell column. A trade which matches the mid price would be considered unknown. In this case the live sell price was 8.41p. That price fell to the upper side of the spread and therefore got designated at a buy. Every transaction is a buy and sell that is why the stock exchange does not assign a buy or sell to it, the reporting sites apply the label based on the above explanation to give market guidance. The MMs use the spread at times to try to give an impression of buying and or selling when in fact it is the opposite. Look at HUM transaction feed. Everytime the ask moves to 31.50p all transactions are red, but looking more closely they are 30p and 30.32p for example. All the 30.32p transactions are buys and would show as buys if the ask was actually 30.50p What can be pleasing to see here though is that the sells are being absorbed and not currently having a downward effect, though the delay to news could eventually take its toll. I also have no doubt that the news from PAM will send this northward.... 'when' we get it, better to get it whilst we are here than falling back mid 7s. But then again the fabled end of May scoping comments by Archer has lost its shine, given its no longer May.

AIM and your money has always been feathering the beds of AIM management, whether they are successful or more often than not failures. They get healthy salaries then they get bonuses for doing the job they got the healthy salaries for, or even bonsues for not doing the job they were paid for. You just have to grim and bear it and hope you are in a company that has a board that are actually achieving something with your money.
