B 'OC was brought in by SO, so I suspect one reason SO has not been asked to leave. He once told me that he doesnt get paid enough for the time he spends on EOG. Curiously, he hasn't quit and is still taking his money and not spending it on Europa shares.

They could have bought back shares with that £600000, instead the BOD votes to give it to themselves. How immoral.

It is truly shocking to see the that SO is chair of the remuneration committee and earned over 600000 pounds in two years, let me just say that again, 600000 pounds in two years. Do you remember the British Gas CEO and his nickname, Cedric the pig because his snout was always in the feeding trough. SO and the BOD have ruined the share price which stands at a dismal 1.125p. A penny share. It is time we change the entire BOD out. They are greedy, completely incompetent, clearly stupid and are being allowed to rob the Europa bank account.

If the past is anything to go by, the wressle cash cow will only be feeding the BOD.

Dont forget SO took £260000 as salary/bonus last year. The onshore production has paid off on remuneration for BOD. Hugh Mckay was paid very well for 10 years. The shareholders have not seen any benefit.from the production.

Well at least the Directors and management are raking it in. The shareholders have been truly let down by the same team that is still in place and they have no new ideas. Simon Oddie took over a 250000 pounds in salary last year, devalued what little remaining share price value was left after years of dismal perfomance and is still on the board taking a salary. W illiam A has been on the BOD for at least 18 years a nd havent seen anything except complacency. Brian O has been Chairman for at least 5 years and contributed nothing ex cept allowing the BOD to take large salaries while shareholders continually lose money. Not even sure what Steven does as he was supposed to add contacts from his "City" experience which is now fulfilled by the next no-hoper, our new CEO. Dismal. They need an entire change of BOD to give us any hope of getting a return on our investment.

Wressle is good but will not move the shareprice and brings in enough money to just continually pay managements large salaries and pensions. They need to start working for shareholdres, stop being greedy, preferably merge with UJO (not Egdon) who at least know how to run a listed company. I am just fed up with promises by an incompetent BOD.

Actually, Porkpies the porkies master storyteller may actually be SO. First who else in their right mind would believe such nonsense and I see Porkpies has posted 100% of the time on this BB for 5 years, when SO joined.

Just reread what he said, ' the Serenity deal.was a masterstroke'.!!! and then reread it and ask yourself if he isnt on drugs. I suspect all that will happen is that EOG will now be up for 25% of G&A , paying to keep a dying ember alive. As for drilling wells, we have drilled 2 wells since Feb 2015 (1 every 7 years), both dusters. The company has just been paying salaries that werent deserved and certainly has poor technical staff.

Simon Oddie is doing such a wonderful job, that is why the share price is now a penny stock.

I suspect porkpies is the PR company. They must be paying them well so they can buy the hallucination drugs they are taking.

Completely agree that SO needs to go but so do all of BOD. They approved his salary, they approved how this company is run and it has been a disaster. It will not improve until they all go. The Mail on Sunday may not have said it bluntly but that was their message. Leave!!!

They are stupid and greedy, a bad combination.

Yes we need to understand how many shares they still have. The website states 5.93% and if that is still the case it is a worry. They clearly started selling down at close to 3p as SO and his BOD could not convince them to stay during the drill. They are the same board that got them in and they should understand what damage they could do if they want out. I suspect if they were not selling we would have seen a much better share rise going into the drill. I think that says a lot for the BOD and in my opinion a clean out would be transformational. Mr Ahlefeldt has been there for 18 years and has control of the board with his shareholding. Why would you just sit there watching the company share price continue to go down without doing something.

Wressle is good but all the UK onshore production has done is going to pay for salaries. A share buy back would help reduce BGF large shareholding.

I t.hink anyone who cares aboout seeing a rise in share price needs to vote against the directors we only need 60mm votes against the reelection of all. If you hold shares with a broker like Hargreaves Lansdown you need to send a secure message clearly stating how they should vote their proxy on your behalf.

Everyone should cast a vote regardless of which way they want to vote. It will only take minutes

You would hope it is binned but i wouldnt count on it. They have said to "use for other deals" as well as side track. With SOs record i would let him make any more decisions. He has put up 1/3 of our Wressle asset as collateral on this loan and you dont need him making any more poor decisions

I agree that SO has lost all his credibility now. The whole bOD needs changing out. The first thing is they never managed to do anything which would get the share price up so BGF one didnt want out or two convinced them to stay. So when the share price went up we continued to have sellers pushing price down. They then borrowed a million off UJO which was a double whammy to the decreasing share price. Not sure what this million will do except pay their salaries.

I hope they have the P45s ready for SO and the rest of the BOD.
