The BODs say the major shareholders all support their pay, options and strategy but it is very clear that they do not. There was almost 3.5mm shares sold yesterday plus millions sold previously. We are told one thing and the facts tell a different story.

As for WA buying, who knows why, he has consistently lost money every time he buys, I guess a fool and his money are easily parted.

It is not the award of share options but the price, it is shockingly low. But as you say let's wait and see if they buy shares in the open market. After all they are being paid quite well.

Because I just said it disincentivises them from buying shares in the open market. For goodness sake the share price is 1p, we need the BOD to show support by buying shares, all of them.

One of the biggest problems with rewarding themselves so many shares at such a low price is it disincentivises them from buying shares in the open market. Why would you buy shares when you know you can buy them for 1.07p??

The BODs are constantly saying 3rd party review for awarding themselves too high of salaries and too low of options. They don't need a 3rd party to tell them what is right for the shareholders, a good BODs would understand that. I am afraid this BOD are just showing themselves as greedy.

The other thing is that I hope they learned their lesson with SO and SW and that all those options given to them both as non executives (which is poor CG) albeit, SO was a self appointed exec when they were awarded, was that if a director leaves all share options should be cancelled with immediate effect. I wonder if they have put that in their share option scheme?

I dont think the BOD have learned anything from the shareholder revolt against greed. 6% of company at 1.07p is really shockingly low and not going to win any votes when you consider we need to reduce the number of shares not increase the number of shares. At least the Chairman, a non exec, has not been awarded any, as it should be. If, the BOD purchase their options, they will find it difficult to sell as it wont look good for them to sell when they are running the company.

we know the bods only reluctantly put the minimum amount of money into shares, so only had 3.4mm shares so cant see it is him. it is someone with a considerable amount of shares who they either have ****ed off or haven't convinced and are offloading.

Oh dear, are the management worth their pay if they cant convince shareholders to stay, particularly large ones. I wonder if it is BGF or Polus.

This high frequency share price change isnt helping. Every time it goes up, someone sells. That is a major issue. There are over 1 billion shares in issue. An extension in Ireland will do nothing for the share price unless it is backed up with a farm out. EG will only prove itself if it is farmed out this year, as they say it is drill ready. If they want to keep their jobs the share price needs to see a major boost.

The BOD need to do more work to convince large shareholders not to sell.

I dont see the BODs earning their huge salaries if they cant keep large shareholders on board

See what happens when the BOD buy and show support for their strategy, the share price goes up. Let's see the non executives purchase some shares and WH buy some more and it will show they really believe in the Company.

EG is the right kind of project for EOG as we need something transformational. (Ireland is too politically difficult), otherwise Wressle just pays salaries and pensions. As others have pointed out, if it truly has potential the group should secure a farmout. I dont remember them saying if there is 3D over the block, does anyone know? If not, the farmout may just be 3D which of course moves a drill further out.

Look the BOD are drawing down over 800000/yr with share options. WH says he sees big things to come in 2024. If that is the case then they can all start supporting the share price with significant purchases. That benefits everyone.

Where are the BOD share purchases? Do they believe in this Company or not?

Where are the announcements that BOC, AS, WH and SAR are buying shares. They are no longer in a closed period and £8000 buy from ,'Im not a rich man' on £350000/yr wont cut it in showing the markets and shareholders they see this share price moving north and continuing to do so. If they believe in the Company then we shpuld see some purchases

They didn't seem to be very independent last time as all worked at Enterprise and SO brought in BOC and he allowed them all to increase their salaries way above what they should be because he wasn't really independent. He has not been a good Chairman so let's hope he moves off and we can really have an independent BODs who care about shareholders
